Of course you remember.
Remember after CR was released, CNN publicly and literally proudly ate a piece of paper that had the writing "Craig is not Bond" and in the end said "Sorry we were so hard on you Daniel"?
I love a good redemption story.

Me too. It was also interesting to see the change on Bond forums too. AJB, for instance, was full of Craig hate at one point, then once the film was released, many members conceded they were wrong about him. The others that tried to keep the momentum ended up bored and leaving, or were banned for going too far with their abusive and ridiculous comments, once they suddenly slipped in to the minority.stockslivevan wrote:Remember the good old days of every media spot trashing EON's choice of Daniel Craig? Do you remember the days where fans argued over whether Craig drives a stick shift or not? Remember the days when Bond_Fan publicly made videos of himself "acting" as James Bond and how he was much superior compared to Craig before the film was released? Do you remember when CNN covered the whole negativity on Craig as Bond (including showing DCINB.com)?

Good one, like it.Oddjob wrote:A triumph for Barbara casting her boyfriend as Bond.
It's weird how the height, hair and looks issue is relevant. Might have something to do with the fact Craig is still blonde, ugly and a midget.Captain Nash wrote:And after nearly two years in the role, the same viewpoints are used as an argument against Craig.
The height, the looks and the hair.
This is the response I get? Only at DCINB.Gary Seven wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll

Exactly. Who in Hollywood could tell anyone that they had CNN eat their own words live? That has to be an achievement.Arthur Brain wrote: I think it was 'Variety' who posted an article about Craig, who said he had

BTW I think your sentence is the only one where you could use the word hansome and Craig together without it sparking a Skywalker onslaught.
We all know what the current groupthink is on Craig. The whole point of this site is to give voice to those of us who aren't following the herd.stockslivevan wrote:I find it interesting that no one on the anti-Craig side has acknowledged it on this very thread and have only given me the usual "DCINB wit"... Or at least half of it.

Funnily enough, Craig has just released a movie detailing a process very similar to the one you've just describedThe Sweeney wrote:Me too. Even on CBn, the likes of CM007 and Gravity Sillouette, 2 massive Craig-doubters did a U-turn too.
Nice find.stockslivevan wrote:I can feeeeeel yoahhh anngaahhh...Skywalker wrote:He's not defeated me yet.Arthur Brain wrote:

Where on earth does it say in this thread that the creator of it is annoyed....? And why can he not think up threads that will provoke, annoy even.Gary Seven wrote:I don't understand. I have read lots of intellegent reviews criticising the new direction of Bond. It's not 5 people on a forum.
Royale was warmly recieved. But I did not like it. This is "Daniel Craig Is Not James Bond". Why does it annoy the creator of this thread that I did not like Daniel Craig as Bond? Is it a criminal offense? Why do you think up thread subjects that will annoy people on this forum? Answer: you are trolling.
