Sorry BJ, but ever since 2005 I have usually been right with these Craig predictions, and you have been wrong.

The good news is that as long as people like Daniel Craig as Bond and keep going to his Bond movies that means this site has a few years left. Imagine if Craig had only done CR, it flopped and everyone hated it like BJ predicted in 2006, where would this site be in 2012?

Well, there wouldn't be any need for this site, obviously. I expect we'd all be on one or more of the other Bond sites.

We'd still be going, only as DanielCraigWasNotBond.com.

I've seen Skyfall now and I think it was rubbish.

Good looking cinematography, but other than that it was a very bland film, and no Bondian feel whatsoever.

Boring plot and score, film overlong and dull, too many explosions.

I don't understand why it got such excellent reviews, what was so special about it? :|

Did any of you hear about John McAfee? He's on the run wanted for murder. Makes sense for me his antivirus/firewall was always worthless.

Not a COD fan. And I need to pick up AC3 and the forthcoming Hitman: Absolution.

I sold my BF3 to get COD BO2, Battlefield is fun but I didn't dig the online pay. Or the new ghost recon, for the new COD they changed some thing I not sure I like. I like being the first batch to play it long before there are nubetube generals lurking round every corner.

I am seeing a lot of Lincoln ads, for the last 2 weeks or more. I wouldn't be surprised to see it on the top 3 this weekend it is the adult movie this season, and from the way they are talking about it soon to be oscar winner.

What happened at the BBC? it sounded like it is melting down, picked of bits of it but I have not heard the story.

My review:This film can be summed up as the MISadventures of James Bond :!: There is sterility of fun. MI6 is inept, Moneypenny is inept, M is inept, Bond has suddenly gone from a novice 00 to an over the hill drunk(who looks like George Steele), Q is inept, and Bardem's villain  is a boring Jame Gumb Silence Of The Lambs disgrace as well. THIS deserves Oscar talk? Why? Waaaaaaaaaaaaay overdone Dench here. The acting was uneventful, the Bond girls were basically a non-entity, and this mundane and moronic plot had ZERO to do with Bond saving the world, instead, he had to save himself. Broccoli receiving praise for this calamity? I think not. Again, this has ZERO to do with a properly done Bond film. Pierce's GE with Bean's 006 outdid this crap any day of the week, and it was FUN :!:

First of all, can we get that Austin Powers/Daniel Craig pic as an avatar? *please?* :happy spin:

Second, BJ, I hated Bardem too. I didn't love the movie, but I didn't hate it either; but I'll only be seeing it once. Hopefully you didn't have to pay anything to get in.

'BJ'.........question for you. As you wont see a Bond film in the cinema starring DC.......whats this review based on, is it just on what you know of the storyline. Just was wondering! :)

I saw it..........I have connections.......all 2 hours and 17 minutes EA..........I now have the same frame of reference as you.........Dench was boring, callous, cold, and inept. The film's opening was decent for 13 minutes......after that a snooze fest until the battle for Hogwarts at the end.......rip off of other franchises........DC looked dread awful physically and gaunt.......the plot mocked the incompetence of MI6..........the villain was a yawner and pathetically portrayed by an overhyped actor, Javier BOREDOM, who looked ridiculous in the film, and is one of the ALL TIME WORST villains EVER :!: .......you thought Le Chiffre had no personality? Same with his clown. Do not insult GF by comparing this tiresome montage of celluloid malpractice to any of Connery's classic films and GE was much more enjoyable watching Bond on a mission to save the UK, not his grandmother figure or his own soul. Utter drek, to the nth degree. Cavill would need a new Moneypenny but since the green vegetable has her heart set on Elba the stage is probably set for more desecration and destruction of the franchise. Take a good look at the cranial structure of my new avatar and compare it to Cr-egg in this film and you will see the stark similarity that exists.
