Q, this guy makes sense. The plot is stolen from other Bond films and other franchises and is patched together and is lacking. I would have expected a $50 million USD opening weekend for this rubbish, given it's home court advantage in the UK and around the clock viewings. Only $7 million USD more than QOS in the UK opening weekend? Factor in inflation and IMAX and it's even less and NOT that impressive

In addition, Bonds 1-20 dealt with Bond dealing with the "world's" wrongs. DC's 3 films have dealt with Bond dealing with "his" own wrongs, in a time warped manner which makes NO sense to continuity, where in the end, which somehow now is the re-beginning, characters have been redefined, yet at the end of the film, it's square one again at the Dr. No character level.

What kind of nonsense is this? Sweeney, THIS is what you deem as great? Good buddy, you and I are light years apart on what constitutes a proper, traditional Bond film. You equate uncontrolled poetic license to brilliance. I equate it to insanity. The franchise is done, and deservedly so now. Twilight will BURY this trashy and disturbing Bond film here weekend number 2.
