Addng to my last post; You know what is sad the UK news paper do a much better job reporting on our politicians .

I was thinking about what kris had said earlier about some southerners not like Obama because of his skin color unforgivably that is true with a certain I hope small part of our population but among those people someone like Romney is probably as repulsive to them.
I kind of thought Obama was trying to tee that up as debate issue when he was talking about Jesus, trying say I worship Jesus this other guy Romney who does he worship? BUt after Obama decided to shotgun his reelection campaign by making all religious organisations support contraception and ru487 on demand in some manner I think he blew the chance of getting the faithful of america unquestioning support (the supposed insurance loophole is joke for a lot of reasons. )

I do think Romney has some trouble in the bible belt because of his religion, I would hope as a nation we would be much more accepting.

I think Santorum would be a good faith advocate in a Romney white house but not a good candidate. Weird where the Dem talking point that he or republicans in gernel want to outlaw contraceptives, and everyone in the news treats it like it is a serious thing that nobody had mention before a reporter moderating a debate

I don't think this issue will get much momentum just because most of the women in my life, the women I know in my generation and younger are not threatened by a 1950s maybe 1960s talking point that is crazy on the face of it. But this is limited to my world experience, admittedly maybe some women in NYC think it could be serious but then again as a people we have made contraceptive beside the morning after pill available freely and cheaply (another reason Obama religious mandate makes no sense), I don't know how many women will belive this scare tactic , the Womens rigth movement supported Bill Clintion blindly when they should have held him accountable so who knows.

I thought Ben and Jerry's were famous for being a very green/left-wing company so it's not surprising that the founders are supporting the OWS?

http://www.inquisitr.com/199361/gitmo-soccer-field/ You cannot make this stuff up. THS is how the Oh-bama closes Gitmo. Are tennis courts and spas next on his list? Vote Romney if you live in the USA.

Why, has Romney promised to close Gitmo?

No. It should be expanded but Oh-bama stated he would close it yet he is investing more money into it as the fake he is.

Yes, but my point is that if you want Gitmo closed, as I do, you don't have a candidate to represent you. It's certainly not a reason to vote for Romney, though it might be a reason to stay home on election day.

So, as I said, Obama's failure to keep his promise is a reason not to vote for Obama. It is not a reason to vote for Romney.

I do not think candidate Obama would recognize himself. He ran as a being an outsider someone who would take down the machine once he got to Washington he found the machine was too useful.

Limbaugh putting his foot in his mouth cost him big this time.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/20 ... ?hpt=hp_c2

Dumbass Limbaugh made this stupid girl a hero by calling her a whore. Instead of people examining what the girl said on capital hill and wondering why we should be paying for her contraception. The true story behind Fluke is she went to Georgetown with the intention of causing trouble, for the past 3 years she was reaching out the the White House and others trying to make her contraception an issue.

She is by most definitions a planted activist who's story would not hold up under close scrutiny.

The best analogy the right could have made would be frat bros going to Capital Hill asking Georgetown to pay for their condoms and Viagra. Not calling the stupid activist girl a whore for wanting a Catholic organization to pay for her contraception.

I will not say what Dr Mrs No had to say about this young woman we knew people like her in school and do not have a favorable opinion of them.
My wife has another fear that if the government can mandate religious institutions pay for morning after pills and maybe abortions (depending how it is worded some federal fund do go for abortions) then they will soon mandate young women take the pills the government are providing. I never thought of it this way and I can see how the government might try to do it. If they can mandate we have to buy insurance and what that insurance has to cover then there is no stopping what they can do.

Something nobody is mentioning is there are some bad side effects to birth control pills. Not saying they should not be provided which they already are for free in most cities just saying they are not magic as the Obama admin are implying and can cause serious health issues.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1kJQHt73CQ Proof of liberal Democratic hypocrisy. They blamed Bush relentlessly, yet now they say Oh-bama is not to blame. That jackass Gregory on Meet The Press is an embarrassment as well stating it. The government is controlling the media now. They are promoting their agenda. That is socialism.

How long before all the Super Tuesday results are in? I keep reading conflicting figures, probably because the votes are still coming in.

What do you all think of the Republican candidates? Rick Santorum seems quite socially conservative!
