There is a feature on the best films of the 00's in Total Film magazine. Casino Royale is the "best reboot". There is an interview with Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli where everyone says how brilliant Craig and the reboot was - but no mention of the awful QOS. Apparently the great Quantum Organisation was introduced in Casino Royale too.
Bring back Bond!

QOS is going to be the redheaded stepchild of the Bond franchise.but no mention of the awful QOS. Apparently the great Quantum Organisation was introduced in Casino Royale too.

Pierce had a brillaint first movie and very good second. I know some haters would try to argue it down but the history is he saved Bond.
I didn't like Cr because it was depressing and its just not a movie i find worht watching again primarily that this reason. his second I avoided and am glad I did everyone I know who has seen it regrets it.
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Brosnan's 2nd outing had a few problems, but his era consisted of competently made Bond movies. Eon should have abandoned production of QOS if they had no script or ideas. Instead they cobbled together a piece of trash in the knowledge that it would make money as it has the 007 logo slapped on it. At least Eon have the Brosnan bond formula to go back on.

I think they're more interested in trying to make people forget QOS..and I don't doubt they might latch onto a gimmick-if they thought it might work.
