Have you noticed you cannot come back with an intelligent response whenever I bring up your sordid past on MI6. Never. Ever. Not once!

I wonder why.....

People think Daniel Craig looks too old, too whatever.Get over it. Unfortunately,Craig is here for a while. I am afraid of who The Idiot Broccoli is going to hire next, if Craig is the best she can come up with.

Not only that the suggestions for the next Bond(most of them)are completely inappropriate. As long as the Brain Damaged one and her brother are running EON all we will get is fugly, completely wrong for the role actors.

Have you read some of the Aint It Cool News QOS related talkbacks lately Arthur? There are a few people putting the boot into Craig as Bond.

It's difficult for me to get excited about the tralier as I don't enjoy Craig as Bond - it is a bit annoying. But Iimagine if you do like him, then it must be exciting to have him in a new Bond in a few weeks.
Bring back Bond!

Yes.............i have read some of those posts at that site.

As i've said many times before, i understand why people here dont like Craig as Bond.............i mean
everyone is so different, its just that i enjoyed DC's first film in the role, and yes i am looking forward to QOS
to see how the story continues.
I felt that CR was a more mature Bond film, and as i have grown up over the years i felt that some of the slapstick in
previous films was cringeworthy at times.
I also hope that the anti-Craig people here find something enjoyabe in QOS.

It will probably be a soild action film - and I enjoy those, even those of a lesser quality such as the Golun Globus ones. But, when watching Craig as Bond I just wish he was someone else, and that it is a waste of a Bond film.
Bring back Bond!

Billions was the obvious retort to your millions. Obviously out of 6 billion people there are billions who don't like Craig.

Out of any given number the will always be a significant detractor present.
For example if 89 million bought a CR ticket, it would be fairly safe to say a good number didn't like it, let say 1/3 didn't like it or Craig out right. Lets say 1/3 loved it like the Corsican Brothers posting here do. 1/3 are at best indifferent and maybe borderline liking it. Trying to be fair 2/3 can't be claimed as loving CR at the same time as much as people here would like to say it, they can't say everybody hated it either.

The are millions of Bond fans who do not like Craig or maybe it's only the new direction. Regardless there millions of people who do not like CR. Think about it statistically, it is inevitable.
There were probably millions of people who didn't like Brosnan, Moore, Connery

Trying to bully the people here doesn't change their minds, and it wouldn't matter if it did because only a small percentage of the total number of Bond fans would even read it or the studio powered fan forum like mi6.

In the end all you'll accomplish is fooling yourself into feeling like big man and to give you something to brag about when you scamper off home.

'Mazer'...........what an interesting post? :?

Some of your logic is fine to a point...............but i think you are deluding yourself if you think Craig is not liked by the majority of people.
Fact: DC received a lot of praise from the worlds media for his portrayal of Bond.
Fact: The large BO revenue of the film was partly due to the good word of mouth of the lead actor, which resulted in a lot
of repeat business.
Fact: If Craig was so unpopular as you say, he wouldn't be starring in the next film QOS.

I base my facts on logic, and people who i meet in everyday life!!

Question: Who are the 'Corsican brothers' you refer to on this site?

Don't know what this 'bully' bit means, and i certainly don't need to brag..........and as to scampering home.............
well, i'am at home, replying to your posts!!!!!!!

You need to read it again, bubba.

You logic is delusional, supposing you know only people who speak English, there for everyone in the world must also speak English. I assume you like the UK, the majority of people you know probably like the UK, guess nobody could ever desire to wipe it off the map then. Read it again, carefully. It is not a difficult point, nor logic that requires a Vulcan to comprehend. (The Corsican Bros probably get it) It's not different than disliking a rival towns football team.

You've based you opinions and conclusion are drawn from a segregated experience. You seek out like minded and in such group positively reinforce each others perceptions. The very reason this board exists.

For a quick example:
Around 2,000,000,000 (actually it is under 2b) people are using actively using the internet.
How many of those people are posting to boards or making websites. An infinitesimal number compared to the whole Any one demographic as reflected online is not going to be an inaccurate representation.

Code: Select all

90% of users are lurkers (i.e., read or observe, but don't contribute). 9% of users contribute from time to time, but other priorities dominate their time. 1% of users participate a lot and account for most contributions.
For instance of the number of internet users over half are Asian, or form Asia. Consider how often you run across Asian language website/boards. It is a huge demographic but not on that is given much thought in the western world.

The Bully bit is for those like you who try to force their opinion and intimidate anyone who has a different opinion. If you gotta ask about the Corsican Bros you are having a laugh or don't come here often enough.

Things are really starting to heat up here now that TBM is closer to revealing Craig's fate as Bond. It is not a flattering thing for a Bond actress to convey she deems Craig as fatherly to her, nor is it smart for another actor to reveal Craig had to wear shoe lifts to heighten his appearance opposite a taller woman. Craig may have had his 15 minutes of Bond fame in CR. He has a facial look of a 'CHRONIC hangover' and one still has to really concentrate to understand his garbled speech. He looks WORSE than he did in CR, and truthfully, anyone who feels he looks refreshed and youthful compared to CR, is a spin doctor for Craig. His days are being numbered as Bond, and with a ridiculous storyline involving a goofball Elvis henchman who resembles a skinny downsized Jaws facially, and a 'wide-eyed' Marty Feldman-like Almaric posing as a non-convincing world threat ,hell bent on controlling WATER, it all adds up to the beginning of the end of this avant garde exercise in creative license by Barbara Broccoli and her step brother MGW.

Try explaining that to the pro-Craig crowd around here :?

Of course. Any sort of slight towards Daniel Craig and the pro-Craig crowd are on it like stink on you-know-what

His days are being numbered as Bond, and with a ridiculous storyline involving a goofball Elvis henchman who resembles a skinny downsized Jaws facially
Oh my god, yeah. His 'do is a hair *don't* :P

and a 'wide-eyed' Marty Feldman-like Almaric posing as a non-convincing world threat ,hell bent on controlling WATER, it all adds up to the beginning of the end of this avant garde exercise in creative license by Barbara Broccoli and her step brother MGW.
Unfortunately, as long as the Idiot Broccoli and her brother are running EON, Daniel Craig will be Bond..until his contract is up. :?

TWINE was just on. Watching Dench's M and Brosnan's Bond in 1999 and now their NEW AND BUDDING relationship in 2006-2008, makes it quite ridiculous to watch CR and TBM.

I predict QOS will be more successful than CR, for both the film and Craig himself.

You were wrong with your predictions last time, bj, and I was right. You have now laid down the gauntlet for your predictions this time, and so have I.

Come November, one of us will be right. Wonder who it will be. Not long now...tick-tock, tick-tock....

There is an even bigger nerd on here too. Someone who has flip-flopped, changed her whole opinion of an actor, just to get back at another Bond forum site.

That's way more offensive than,say, this. :?
