Have you read some of the Aint It Cool News QOS related talkbacks lately Arthur? There are a few people putting the boot into Craig as Bond.
It's difficult for me to get excited about the tralier as I don't enjoy Craig as Bond - it is a bit annoying. But Iimagine if you do like him, then it must be exciting to have him in a new Bond in a few weeks.
Yes.............i have read some of those posts at that site.carl stromberg wrote:I'll do a post even though it will get lost in the 10,000th esoteric Sweeney/Stocks/katie argument.

It will probably be a soild action film - and I enjoy those, even those of a lesser quality such as the Golun Globus ones.Arthur Brain wrote:Yes.............i have read some of those posts at that site.carl stromberg wrote:I'll do a post even though it will get lost in the 10,000th esoteric Sweeney/Stocks/katie argument.

As i've said many times before, i understand why people here dont like Craig as Bond.............i mean
everyone is so different, its just that i enjoyed DC's first film in the role, and yes i am looking forward to QOS
to see how the story continues.
I felt that CR was a more mature Bond film, and as i have grown up over the years i felt that some of the slapstick in
previous films was cringeworthy at times.
I also hope that the anti-Craig people here find something enjoyabe in QOS.

Billions was the obvious retort to your millions. Obviously out of 6 billion people there are billions who don't like Craig.
Out of any given number the will always be a significant detractor present.
For example if 89 million bought a CR ticket, it would be fairly safe to say a good number didn't like it, let say 1/3 didn't like it or Craig out right. Lets say 1/3 loved it like the Corsican Brothers posting here do. 1/3 are at best indifferent and maybe borderline liking it. Trying to be fair 2/3 can't be claimed as loving CR at the same time as much as people here would like to say it, they can't say everybody hated it either.
The are millions of Bond fans who do not like Craig or maybe it's only the new direction. Regardless there millions of people who do not like CR. Think about it statistically, it is inevitable.
There were probably millions of people who didn't like Brosnan, Moore, Connery
Trying to bully the people here doesn't change their minds, and it wouldn't matter if it did because only a small percentage of the total number of Bond fans would even read it or the studio powered fan forum like mi6.
In the end all you'll accomplish is fooling yourself into feeling like big man and to give you something to brag about when you scamper off home.

Some of your logic is fine to a point...............but i think you are deluding yourself if you think Craig is not liked by the majority of people.
Fact: DC received a lot of praise from the worlds media for his portrayal of Bond.
Fact: The large BO revenue of the film was partly due to the good word of mouth of the lead actor, which resulted in a lot
of repeat business.
Fact: If Craig was so unpopular as you say, he wouldn't be starring in the next film QOS.
I base my facts on logic, and people who i meet in everyday life!!
Question: Who are the 'Corsican brothers' you refer to on this site?
Don't know what this 'bully' bit means, and i certainly don't need to brag..........and as to scampering home.............
well, i'am at home, replying to your posts!!!!!!!
Goodnight

Try explaining that to the pro-Craig crowd around hereIt is not a flattering thing for a Bond actress to convey she deems Craig as fatherly to her, nor is it smart for another actor to reveal Craig had to wear shoe lifts to heighten his appearance opposite a taller woman
Of course. Any sort of slight towards Daniel Craig and the pro-Craig crowd are on it like stink on you-know-whatCraig may have had his 15 minutes of Bond fame in CR. He has a facial look of a 'CHRONIC hangover' and one still has to really concentrate to understand his garbled speech. He looks WORSE than he did in CR, and truthfully, anyone who feels he looks refreshed and youthful compared to CR, is a spin doctor for Craig
Oh my god, yeah. His 'do is a hair *don't*His days are being numbered as Bond, and with a ridiculous storyline involving a goofball Elvis henchman who resembles a skinny downsized Jaws facially
Unfortunately, as long as the Idiot Broccoli and her brother are running EON, Daniel Craig will be Bond..until his contract is up.and a 'wide-eyed' Marty Feldman-like Almaric posing as a non-convincing world threat ,hell bent on controlling WATER, it all adds up to the beginning of the end of this avant garde exercise in creative license by Barbara Broccoli and her step brother MGW.

Yep.bjmdds wrote:TWINE was just on. Watching Dench's M and Brosnan's Bond in 1999 and now their NEW AND BUDDING relationship in 2006-2008, makes it quite ridiculous to watch CR and TBM.

CR equalled, or beat DAD at the BO worldwide. Does that mean old Brozza was not accepted as Bond either then?Mazer Rackham wrote:Internet fansThe Sweeney wrote:Would you say in general, that the internet Bond fans are in the minority who like Craig then....Mazer Rackham wrote:But on the simple question was he Bond in CR, then this site is the majority and it is the small franchise fans who are in the minority.

Just keep 'em coming Mazer. I'm enjoying this!!. Snakes on a plane must have been a smash...Right?
Put all of the online Bond communities together..what's that? 50,000 soiled nerds at the very most.
I am not talking about the internet what I am talking about is real face to face data collection. Based on real world data Craig was not accepted as Bond.
You want to have a euphoric world view, go right ahead.
I predict QOS will be more successful than CR, for both the film and Craig himself.bjmdds wrote:His days are being numbered as Bond, and with a ridiculous storyline involving a goofball Elvis henchman who resembles a skinny downsized Jaws facially, and a 'wide-eyed' Marty Feldman-like Almaric posing as a non-convincing world threat ,hell bent on controlling WATER, it all adds up to the beginning of the end of this avant garde exercise in creative license by Barbara Broccoli and her step brother MGW.
There is an even bigger nerd on here too. Someone who has flip-flopped, changed her whole opinion of an actor, just to get back at another Bond forum site.katied wrote:LOL the truth hurts. only a small percentage of Bond fans are nerds.Just the ones that feel they have to defend Daniel Craig's honor every time his name is mentioned.Put all of the online Bond communities together..what's that? 50,000 soiled nerds at the very most
