I feel that Bond really is a 60's guy, not a millenium guy. And apparantly why is there no Bond Film about the terrorism in the Mid-East.
That maybe a worthy bond film for Daniel Craig to tackle.

Sir Rog's hair certainly got lighter as the years rolled on, but I wouldn't call it blond.tiswas wrote:The reasons are that with him, he seems lightweight, too much of a male model and really up-himself. Who knows the DC film, the new one, might even be good and I hope the theme song will be a lot better than the CR one. So what if he is a blond, so was Roger Moore and he was good in LALD, MWTGG, TSWLM and FYEO.

Craig vetoed the idea of the terrorists in CR being Islamists, because he thought it would be tasteless for escapist entertainment like the Bond films to be so close to real world events. I have to say I agree with him. Even during the cold war, the villains were usually rogue Russian generals or SPECTRE rather than the goverment of the USSR.tiswas wrote:And apparantly why is there no Bond Film about the terrorism in the Mid-East.

What are you talking about? Brosnan was an actor playing a role. I've never seen any indication of him suffering from the blurring between reality and drama that occasionally afflicts actors (most tragically in Heath Ledger's case).tiswas wrote:Pierce Brosnon actually thinks he is James Bond. In your dreams darling.
