Question Of The Day

Post by kater23 »

A fun, get to know you sort of thing where I post a question every day(if I remember..sometimes every other day)

First question:What ingredient will ruin a meal for you?

Bell peppers. Not because I don't like the taste, but because they give me a gippy tummy.

Earliest memory?

Mine is being in the breakfast nook of our old house. In fact, there is a picture of me sitting at the table with a box of Cheerios in front of me. There were big windiws and it was always very sunny. There were shelves on either side of the windows.I remember those being a repository for random things.

Earliest memory is sitting by a bookcase eating a toast crust.

Something you’re good at that most people aren’t?

Me, it’s Tetris. I get ridiculously high scores. I remember when the Game Boy first came out and my brother and I tried to beat each others’ high score!

Question Of The Day

Post by Omega »

Food wise I’d say potato salad or coleslaw are just no go for me.

A long long time ago, there was a church picnic where everyone brought something, potato salad looked good, so I had a heaping helping,, but it wasn’t good, got very sick from it and ever since then i avoid that type of food.
Not sure why coleslaw is strongly in that dislike, because at that picnic I didn’t eat any coleslaw, but it’s in that category for some reason.

Other than that, I say certain MREs, but that’s kind of faded in my distaste a little bit. I could eat one of those MREs but I’ll never eat potato salad.

Ooh I hated coleslaw for YEARS. Middle school coleslaw was equal parts cabbage, water and mayo.Gross.

I wouldn't eat an MRE from 2016 let alone 1962. Those MRE reviewers are mad!
