This is to discuss Daniel Craig and his first outing as OO7.
It is not intended to alienate the anti-Craig members, but there should be an area for pro-Craig members to discuss there enjoyment of CR and Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Third favorite Bond film. Second favorite Bond actor. I'd love to see how he progresses in the role before I decide if he is better than Connery.

It's a well known fact that Casino Royale is seen as one of the greatest Bond films concerning the opinion of the collective conciousness of audiences and Bond fans altogether.

Not only did I find CR to be the best Bond film since TLD, although I did very much enjoy the Brosnan era.
I do prefer a more serious Bond, yet am a huge fan of Roger Moore and his Bond films.
But for me, it was the first Bond film that I took Mrs. Nash too and she enjoyed it aswell. She even looks forward to Bond 22!
No normally she's a staunch anti-Bond kind of a girl. And then of course there was the mass appeal from the general audience, at least the people I spoke too.
It's like Bondmania has been reignited, hopefully Bonds 22 and 23 keep that flame burning even brighter.

CR & DC were a breath of fresh air to the franchise.

We all know that DC may not fit the perceived image of Bond as
portrayed by previous actors..............but at the end of the day
its what the public at large worldwide think.....and we all know what the
response was.

Can the handful of negative people on this site get a grip on reality and understand this fact, and take the matter in fact that they are totally
despised by the film industry and public worldwide for their despicable
attacks on one of the worlds best series of film entertainment.

You've got a nerve coming on here and launching an attack that we've gone through about a hundred times already. Mario Bruno does not run CNB anymore. This is not 2005. First of all you came on here pretending to be about ten years old and then if I recall correctly you called everyone retards. You have no credibility whatsoever. There have been some interesting debates on this forum and after a rocky start we've mostly got along reasonably well. The last thing this forum needs is you coming on here with the same old mantra. Some fans don't like Daniel Craig playing James Bond. Rather than be party poopers on CBn etc, where we wouldn't be welcome anyway, we've pitched up here. I don't agree with everything that has been on this site in the past but that was the past. Can't we develop this forum into a friendly and interesting place where we can speak our mind more than AJB, Cbn etc. I enjoy the fact that some pro-Craigers are here, it makes it more interesting but I'm sick to death of people attempting to take the moral high-ground. You've just repeated the same thing again. Different people were running CNB then. I said I didn't agree with everything on CNB in the past. When we had this discussion before two hundred times someone pointed out the off-colour un-PC comments left unmoderated by MI6 such as someone calling Pierce Brosnan an old faggot. Perhaps those sad individuals should be shunned by everyone too for allowing homophobic slurs on their forum. This forum is an offshoot put up by the people running CNB now.
