I've added a NSFW warning to tis and your other thread. I don't really want to censor them, unless a load of people complain, but I think it's only fair to give people a warning, so they can choose whether or not to open the threads.

As far as I know there were never any bare tits in regular movies in the 1960s, only in soft core sex films.
In the 1970s the rules about what you could show in films were relaxed and scenes with bare tits did occur.
So had the series taken another direction in the 70s we could have seen semi-naked women in the Bond films.
If they had become more adult so to speak instead of becoming family entertainment there could have been both more violence and some nudity, as this is how many other movies and movie genres turned out in the 1970s.
And remember there were a lot more sex and nudity described by Fleming in the books than what ended up in the films so this could have been interesting.

ISTR there was talk of Rosamund Pike appearing topless in DAD, but they changed their minds. I suspect the greater reliance on Asian markets, which tend to have stricter standards about sex and nudity (Japan being the obvious exception) put the kibosh on the idea. I don't think we've seen breast nudity in a PG-13 film since Titanic.
