"Each film you make, you want to create a few moments that will stand out and be remembered."

You mean like the spot the classic Bond references game that you've been doing since 2002?

All I can say for QOS is that it had a nice hotel. And well I could write essays on both CR and Skyfall but why bother?

As fancy as the hotel may be, the whole final scene that took place in it was ridiculous, in my opinion. Frantic editing, explosions going off everywhere, Greene screaming like a banshee as he's fighting Bond, Elvis getting his pants blown off (literally), and don't even get me started with that General Medrano.

For me, all the classic homages have been just poor versions of the originals. I also don't like the fact that the new films poke fun at the classic Bonds, and then use them to win people back with nostalgia. The Living Daylights marked the 25th anniversary, and it was a standard Bond film, not a big celebration one. There was a Happy Anniversary 007 video with Roger Moore and some other promotional material, and I think that's a better way of handling these anniversary celebrations. While the modern Bond films have occasionally had some memorable moments, they've recently been relying on playing the nostalgia cards quite a bit.

I'm not thinking on that hotel at the end. I'm talking about that "Grand Hotel" in Bolivia( :?: ) were Fields and Craig hooked up. That hotel was FANTASTIC!And that's the only fantastic thing about the movie. As for nostalgia cards. Skyfall did have those-some one liners actually reminded me of good old Bond days.
