Man I really miss bonds iconic one liners after offing his enemies, it's too serious and far too self aware today with the naziest bond you could ever find, bond should be fighting larger than life villains since he's larger than life, all he's thought in the godawful reboot is a corrupt bank accountant and elvis presley with a fire axe, I miss real villains like blowfelt, goldfinger, oddjob, jaws, 006 & Robbie Coltrane was a great edition as someone who wasn't necessarily good or bad and pretty likeable.
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)

Brosnan got back to more the Connery style of Bond, and like Moore was quite cold blooded more cold blooded than they both get credit for.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Yeah, the Bond villains/henchmen are not what they used to be. Back then, James Bond was just an average built man that usually had to face villains that were much stronger than him. Whether it was with some unique ability, money or power, the villains usually had some sort of advantage over Bond that made things more interesting. Nowadays, however, Bond has become more muscular and the villains have become more whimpier. Just look at the opening to Casino Royale, for example. Bond is beating the heck out of this scrawny guy while destroying the washroom. I sort of felt sorry for the guy, I don't think he even laid a hit on Bond. The main villains from Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace are pretty pathetic. Khallos from the Timesplitters games is more menacing, and he's supposed to be a parody of the Bond villains. I also miss the witty one-liners too.
