Bond 23D?
Bond 23D?
Apparently there's a small piece in today's Sun (a trashy British tabloid that has a long history of printing complete bollocks about upcoming Bond films) that says Bond 23 will be in 3D. Personally, I want to hear it from a more reliable source before I comment.

Come now Kris,The Sun is one of the British tabloids most respected and most truthtelling bunch of assholes the tabloid world has to offer.Kristatos wrote:Apparently there's a small piece in today's Sun (a trashy British tabloid that has a long history of printing complete bollocks about upcoming Bond films) that says Bond 23 will be in 3D. Why this bunch of pricks even bother is beyond me.
What wankers they are.
As you say, love to see another source, hang on, let's that old yank favourite CBS...or CNN. Yep they'll fall for anything...I mean, have great stories that aren't utter bollocks.

I don't know what's worse:The idea of a Bond movie with shakycam,or a Bond film done in 3D.

Re: Bond 23D?
I think this stems from the Total Film interview with Babs & MGW this month. She was asked if she'd seen Avatar and (flippantly) if we'd ever have a 3-D Bond film. The question and the answer were not terribly serious but nonetheless The Sun has put 2 and 2 together and come up with 27.

Eh,I don't have a problem with Total Film like a lot of Bond fans seem to(which I think stems from Total Film's stating their true feelings about the Bond films..not always in a positive way)

I skimmed through it when I had to duck out of a blizzard on tuesday. It was essentially about Casino Royale but Quantum would not have slotted into the fawning tone of the interview.carl stromberg wrote:I notice they ignored QoS completely in that awful piece.

Re: Bond 23D?
Eon will not do Bond 23 in 3D for the very simple reason that they have Craig as their Bond. The uncounted difficulties production has keeping his haggard looks somewhat youngish on screen would be multiplied with the 3d process. Unless they really go Avatar and have a animated digital Bond.
Eon doesn't have a clue about 3D, and with their learning curve it would be problematic. Maybe the next actor if the 3D market continues to grow as well as keep its profitability.

If they did Bond 23 in 3D,I think the vast majority of fans would hate it, but there would be a small but vocal minority of fans that went around bullying people that didn't like it.

I seriously doubt that EON even has the extra money to spend for 3D technology.

Star trek i think just because of the ships and special effects. b ut I really don't like 3d, it can and does make me feel ill.FormerBondFan wrote:Doc......would you prefer to watch Batman 3D and Star Trek 3D than Bond 23D?Dr. No wrote:NO 3d please. Personally I feel sick when watching 3d movies

Re: Bond 23D?
I never even thought about the nauseating(figuratively and literally) aspects of a shakycam movie. I wouldn't watch a Bond film in 3d, and I've never seen a film in 3D so don't know if it would make me sick.Probably not, since I don't get motion sick easily.

Eon can only afford to produce one of these now:
