Favorite Bond Movie: The Dark Knight Trilogy, Mission: Impossible, Kingsman: The Secret Service and The November Man or any upcoming actioners starring Pierce Brosnan (no, it's not James Bond which is good since it will help him expand his reputation as an actor especially in the action realm)

I saw the preview for Sherlock Holmes before Harry Potter 6. I want to see it!(my sister-in-law is going to see it-she has a crush on Robert Downey Jr.)
I worry about 2012-they show people killing themselves, and I worry that when 12/21/2012 rolls around that people are going to do the same There are people that take this 2012 thing SERIOUSLY.
Hey, it's your $10(or the U.S. equivalent) that you're spending to see it.Knock yourself out.Plus, we've got to have at least one person on here that's seen it!

I've never heard of a concert movie being Oscar-nominated before, except maybe in the technical categories. Even classics like The Last Waltz and Stop Making Sense never got Oscar-nominated. But then, the "Best Documentary" category is a relatively recent one, so it may have a shot at that.

And My Life In Ruins was retitled Driving Aphrodite over here. Is this some sort of conspiracy to replace witty, punning titles with bland, nondescript ones?

I think maybe there was a perception that The Boat That Rocked was too much of an innuendo for American audiences?

The Coen Brothers' new movie, A Serious Man is out this week in London, but doesn't reach Bristol until December 4th. A Coens movie is always worth looking forward to in my experience. I even enjoyed the much-slated Intolerable Cruelty - not up to their usual standards, it's true, but still better than about 90% of Hollywood comedies.
