Hey, I managed to see a rough cut of Quantum of Solace today. Since I work for EOn.
Heres some spoilers....
As we see in the trailer, Bond is kissing Fields’ back. Bond then kisses his way up to her neck. Fields tells Bond that “He is more of a man then anyone she has ever met!” (Vespers says this in CR) at this point Bond quickly removes himslelf from Fields and sits on the edge of the bed, and burys his hands in his face. Bond looks and feels really guilty as he is just reminded of Vesper, Fields asks what’s wrong with him. We see quick flash frames of Vesper in Bond’s mind. He gets up from the bed and goes in the bathroom. Whilst washing his face he is knocked out by Elivis who grabs the back of his hair and smashes his head of the bathroom mirror. Bond is awoken by the sound of an ambulance he finds the bedroom trashed and Fields gone. When he looks over the balcony he finds Fields dead – She has been thrown off. (This is the homage to Goldfinger what Arterton said towards the beginning of the shoot: Bond leaving the girl >>>> Bond get’s knocked out cold >>>>> Bond finds the girl dead)
- The Gunbarrel will be back at the start of the movie, it will be a new design since MK12 are creating it. The design it self will stay true to it’s previous incarnations.
- The sequence of the PTS is in this order: Gunbarrel >>> Mr. White gets shot >>>> Bond introduces himself >>>> Bond throws White in the DBS >>>> The Car Chase >>>> Opening Titles >>>> Interiggation.
- The shot of Bond walking in the desert with the Machine Gun will be the very last shot of the movie – There is no Camille.
- M sends a Swat team after Bond which he has 30 seconds to escape. Bond jumps from one building to another from the roof (The building’s arent that far apart)
- Bond and Camille freefall after an enemy plane destroys there aircraft. They land in the middle of the desert.
- An Assasin tries to murder Bond in one of the hotel elavators.
- Bond is still deeply hurt by Vespers betrayal and suicide so much that he has to be restrained after he kicks White in the leg after he pisses him off in the interiggation scene.
- An Mi6 Traitor murders another Mi6 agent in the Interiggation scene, and sucessfully helps White escape, this is the guy Bond fights in the trailer and chases through Sienna.
- There will be flashbacks of Vesper, but Eva Green has not filmed any new footage. So the only footage of her would be from Casino Royale, Unused Shots and maybe Deleted Scenes.
- M gets REALLY angry with Bond throughout the course of the movie, probably because she holds him responsible for Fields' death.
- Bond promises M that his latest mission will not personal but all he has on his mind is revenge.
- Bond confronts Vespers algerian boyfriend in the movie.
- Greene swings at Bond with an axe
- Mathis and Bond are at loggerheads as Bond still thinks that Mathis is a traitor. Mathis has to prove his innocence, if he is innocent at all….
- Bond comprimises his position at the Tosca as he impales Mr White (This is where the whole… “I thought I could trust you” thing comes from in the trailer)
- Camille is plotting to kill Greene as he murdered her family, Greene doesn’t know this as he is in a relationship with her. Bond is sent to track down and question Camille (Hence the Gun and the Photo in the trailer), after a fight on a boat she reveals to Bond her true intentions towards Greene and they team up and go after him.
- Bond and the MI6 Traitor fall through the roof of the Art Gallery in Sienna.
- General Medrano gets killed in a boat explosion.
- Felix has very little screentime in this movie.
- Greene’s fate in unknown – He is still at large (This is why Bond raises his gun in the desert at the end of the movie and in the teaser)
- Bond flirts with Camille at the party, Greene and Elvis interupt them. Greene then insults Cammile who proceeds to slap him over the face. After a heated argument Bond elbows Greene and pushes Elvis down some stone steps.
