Octopussy is better. But, Never Say Never Again is still good. I'm glad that McClory got to make a rebel Bond.

Octopussy! I wonder what NSNA would have been like if had been given a larger budget?

Not wild about either film, to be honest.

Octopussy. It's not my type of Bond film, but it's a billion times more fun than the bore that is NSNA.

Octopussy over Never Say Never Again any day of the week.
Althou NSNA had some possibilities to bad they were never realized

Never Say Never again is very under-rated IMO. It has a great cast Connery as Bond, Edward Fox, Kim Basinger, Von Sydow etc.

In terms of looks, Sean is to Dick as Roger is to Elvis.

I'd say Sean Connery is Elvis and Roger Moore is Clarence Carter.

Please, please, all of you. Octopussy is hands down a far better film than Never Say Never Again.
Granted NSNA does have a very good cast, and is even enjoyable. But the production values of the film are terrible.
Octopussy wins...imo.

They had to be accurate. I mean Moore already had them in LALD.

Both are rather mediocre, even 25 years ago Bond was a pale shadow of the 60s classics

Still OP is part of the official Bond series, while NSNA lacks the gunbarrel, Bond theme and other trademark stuff. To me this definitely gives OP an edge.

NSNA was an unnecessary and badly made remake of Thunderball that only had the return of Connery as it's merit.
