Bond does plenty of spy work in CR and QOS. Isn't the crux of CR a card game? Doesn't he snap photos and wait patiently a lot in QOS?

I think oscartheman might be talking about Bond's lax spy work in QOS when he just kills people instead of questioning.

First, he can't question White because he escapes. Why would he throw him in the boot if he wasn't gonna talk to him?

Second, he questions not kills the guy at the end, and Greene gives him all the info he needs before setting him off to die.

Third, the guy he drops off the roof gets shot by Greene's men, not Bond, and Bond dropped him after talking to him.

Fourth, he plays it cool in the car with what's her face, sneaking out her licence.

Fifth, he uses a spy trick to track the henchmen.

He's not all thug, sorry.
