BJ: I will be seeing Rogue One,but probably not RIGHT when it comes out(last year I went and saw The Force Awakens the day it came out and I was in the front row). However, it's a bit of a trek to the movie theater and the forecast this weekend is for rainy weather so I can wait.

I'd love to see someone photoshop the part of that ticket for Othello that says Oh, Hello to Oh H3LL NO

Broccoli wants Cr-egg to do the most Bond films and pass Moore's total most likely. He might stay on another 12 years until he is 60.

At this rate, the next James Bond may as well be played by a Zerg.

Well, he looks well over 60 now. So when he is really 60 he'll look 120; they can get Gandalf to play his twin brother. :cake:

You said a mouthful FBF :!: Bond will be a joke by the time Barbara gets through with her sexual urges for Cr-egg over the next decade.

Ah, I'll give rogue one a doesn't suck rating but it's not amazing, force awakens is more fulfilling as a SW movie.
Best prequel so far but not a proper SW movie. Lots of cameos from a new hope thanks to cgi and cut footage.

Don't get what Kevin smith was on about.

James Bond star Daniel Craig has gone “off grid” from film bosses who are desperate to sign him up for the next 007 movie.

MGM execs are “panicking” because they have started planning Bond 25, due out in 2018, without hearing from Daniel for a year whether he will star in it, insiders say.

A source said: “Daniel and MGM are currently at a stalemate with him having not spoken to them about Bond.

“They have offered a bigger wage deal, and asked about his filming availability to his reps in 2017, but as yet they have not spoken to Daniel.

"They want Bond 25 out in October 2018, but currently they have no Bond, film dates or knowledge of when that will change.

“Daniel’s commitment is also a key part of whether Sony Pictures will come in to co-finance the film. So much is hanging in the air – and no-one knows.” Image

By the time Craig is finally done, the older Connery and Moore Bonds will look like spring chickens in comparison. With some of the Bond related articles discussing Moore and Craig that I've seen, the writer will use pictures of Moore from A View To A Kill, which I think at times could be a desperate attempt at trying to make Craig look younger. Craig fans also make that comparison quite often without even realizing how ridiculous it is.

My question is why on Earth would someone be desperate to sign Craig for another Bond movie(or any movie for that matter). Craig's golden days have passed as quickly as they came and for the last three years I've heard more talk about who might be the next Bond than about Craig's version of the character. When you add in Craig's infamous "slashing wrists" comments the only thing one can possibly think is that Barbara's infatuation with him is truly stronger than anything else.

Correct "V" :!: It's ALL about Broccoli's lust for Cr-egg! She brings him to Broadway to boot and cannot let go of her urges for him. It's that simple, unfortunately.

Then someone should tell her she can keep him as her very own concubine but she needs to bring someone else to play Bond immediately and stop with this crap that gets a pass for "character exploration". The best solution would be to get rid of her completely because she has no clue whatsoever about Bond at the moment but that doesn't seem likely.

Brosnan and Dalton were bond at the wrong time, if they had been babs bond they'd still be making bond movies. Thing about Craig is he doesn't want to make the movies that's been clear from the start brosnan was eager to make them

I would LOVE to see a discussion between Broccoli and our own FBF on this subject "V" :!: Maybe HE could get through to her :!:

I remember that. It was MGW's logic for firing Brosnan. Bond is the star not the actor. You have to reinvent it on a regular basis. Funny how it doesn't seem to apply now. They'd probably let Daniel Craig carry on into his sixties if he wanted to.

Each time EON has had a year of non productivity the Bond actor is replaced and they start from scratch. It is obvious now Daniel Craig is the star in Barbara's mind with Bond the disgusting character she uses to make money. It is a problem because I believe Daniel is past it however EON and the studio have placed so much on one actors continuation and owning of the character they have limited their potential for renewing themselves. I really do believe Daniel is passe and continuing on uninspired will begin the death spiral of the franchise.
