Dammit, that almost makes me want the film to succeed, as a small blow against the tyranny of algorithms.
Is this the answer for last few years failure to predict flop and hits? There were stories about studio industrial complex being furious they spent money promoting flops based on advice from number crunchers who said Twitter Tarots show Aquarius rising & fortune cookie says "Be on the lookout for coming events; They cast their shadows beforehand." ;)

I'm not sure why there seems to a definable bubble of people in politics, sports, entertainment, business, not being able to read the mood of the common people they rely on to maintain their fortunes. I'd like to believe the common people became more sophisticated and harder to manipulate by the old rules, perhaps too optimistic, it maybe down to the facets of the modern world like social media.

Well, in the case of Hollywood, I don't think anyone else does either. Anyone who figures it out would get very rich.

Um this court order for Apple to enable brut force hacking by disabling the 10 try's then wipe feature.

Thing is the court is ordering Apple to wright a os that has this back door in it.

This is abig deal and all the talking heads who think it's simple dont have a clue how their iPhone work.
Not simple and it is a big deal if it is even possible .
Once Apple crests this soft wear it by its existence is a security problem. Perhaps even copy able by the nsa once they see it.

I think they are in the president trump? Thread .

Some people like to complain if BJ's thread moves into politics even a little. And even as a bond board with very strong opinions on bond , politics and religion tent to hurt feelings . I don't feel strongly about either so much to get in to a flame war, but I do have some options from time to time as it comes up in life

Interesting story on the DB10 from SP getting 3.5 million for charity.
Only 10 were built and only 2 are in good condition because if the damage filming.

Sound like a MGW bid. He has a history of it.

Oh does it? Sorry about that. I thought the Trump thread was a more natural home for those posts (and as you say, some people don't like talking politics in the general discussion thread), but I didn't realise it would cause problems.

ECH-TRE expanded from 47 theaters to 340 (+293) this weekend? How can the theaters allow this? It's not doing any business. Broccoli is all out to get to that illusive $200 million mark because it sounds better.

Sure, there may be a 13-year age gap between Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor Henry Cavill and his new girlfriend, Tara King, but does that give the general public the right to judge their relationship? If you ask social media users, the answer would be a resounding yes. "He's a gross, creep & his behaviour & actions are not something to boast about. I will not be seeing any movies he stars in & I will not be taking my nieces & nephews to BvS. I hope Superman is handed over to a more deserving actor," wrote a People commenter, while others echoed, "I always thought he was so hot. I didn't realize he was such a sleazy deucher . Bummer," and "disgusting he gets away with it because he is attractive, if it were someone else it would be creepy and pedo, but have a great body and face and people overlook that like they did with Paul Walker." "Gross gross gross, just lost all his appeal for me," said one Just Jared reader. She is only 19 and in college: Image

IMO it seems like a older(MUCH older) brother/younger sister thing. I seriously don't want to offend any Cavill fans here but.. nah.
