Just for reference did you guys know that 'James Brolin' was screentested
for OCTOPUSSY, before RM agreed to sign up again.
I have seen pictures of James Brolin as Bond with Vijay in some scenes
on the web.

James Brolin!!!! :o WTF
An American should never be 007. Unless of course they are ;)
Maybe under the right circumstances an American would be the right choice, doubt it.
The help wanted ad should read must speak English with English/Scottish/ Irish/or Welsh accent.

James Borlin does have bit of RMooreishness to him.

I recall when Pierce Brosnan landed the role back in '94 there were some bookies predicting Denzel Washington as a possible Bond

I can't think of anyone worse. He's a very over rated actor in my opinion.

What about Michael Jackson? He would be 100 times worse than Denzel, and he's better off as the next unofficial Bond in my opinion.

Burt Reynolds, Colin Salmon, Ian Ogilvy, Ewan Mcgregor, Cary Grant, James Brolin. All these were seriously talked about as a possible Bond. i can't see any of them in the part.

I think Ian Ogilvy, Ewan Mcgregor, Cary Grant, and James Brolin would have made great Bonds.

Any reason why you don't particularly like these actors Adam?

Rhys Ifans  Seeing as they are going for a character actor for Bond these days.

Vladimir Putin could be considered for Bond too, smooth transition from Craig to Putin

 Thats true Commander, i would thought another appalling choice for Bond would be DJ Qualls from Road Trip  or Boris Becker he looks a little like Craig, he could be Vijay if they threaten to remake the old 007's
which sadly may just happen
