Well, I'm sure you'll end up watching it someday in the near to distant future.

If you prefer classic Bond, you might find yourself-pleasantly surprised.

Do you think, the casting of Daniel Craig as Bond, is the worst thing that could happen to the franchise?

MGW looks particularly youthful in that clip... Remarkable!

Wow.....that car chase is without doubt the worst car chase I've ever seen and this is ignoring craig era bond I mean as bad as qos was atleast that car chase had this thing called...stakes, I don't see any of that here, more like a casual race around an almost pretty much empty town, bond talking on mp on the phone made this seem more like bond was parodying top gear & just like Clarkson I almost thought bond was going to mention the horsepower, how the car handles and how much it costs, this in essence felt more like a car advert, bond calmly driving ahead, ignore the guy a min ago who seemed unstoppable quick talk to moneypenny about the weather or something...

Also while it was nice to see the gadgets back in the car it simply doesn't work with the actor, you need someone who looks comfortable doing this and craig just doesn't seem comfortable at all (just like when he did witty one liners in skyfall, it all felt very forced).
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)

That car chase really does play out like a car advert as most people have been saying. So much for the hype. Despite having Bond driving a gadget-laden Aston Martin while being pursued by the henchman in a fancy Jaguar, the chase is so dull with no memorable stunts. Even car chases with Bond driving the most anti-Bond cars such as the Citroen 2CV or the Renault 11 Taxi, were more exciting and memorable.

Presently yes. Though i cant say what will happen next. The darker is better introspective emo "thing" is very much the current cinematic zeitgeist. It just that I don't enjoy it so much, but i accept different times bring a different background flavour. My current main beef is with the current chump.

That said Die Another Day was terribly dissapointing. I loved Brosnan but the Madonna cgi surfing invisible car was all awful nonsense and was lazily done.

What i would like to see is a bond 22, ignoring reboots , with an actor that can marry brosnan/dalton looks, with connery/moore historic panache, with a plot about a JB who know who he is and loves doing what he does and being the best at it.

Derek, and I don't mean Flint, you are describing Henry Cavill to a tee as the next Bond.....................Spectre took in $5.32 million on Monday to continue to lead the daily box office. The latest installment of Sony and MGM's James Bond franchise was down 68 percent from Sunday's performance. In comparison, 2012's Skyfall fell 53 percent on its first Monday to take in $11.33 million (which was boosted by Veterans Day being observed that day), while Quantum of Solace was down 72 percent to gross $4.13 million. Spectre has grossed a solid, but unspectacular $75.72 million in four days. That places the film a significant 26 percent behind the $101.89 million four-day start of Skyfall and just 6 percent ahead of the $71.66 million four-day take of Quantum of Solace. :!: .............this film is in BIG box office trouble. :happy spin:

I would have no problem with HC cast as Bond, although i am not sure you can be Bond and Superman at the same time, one would have to give. Should b3 an easy choice with the cross of Reeve to bear.

I think HC would be a good choice. Good actor, leading man looks and experience, and the right age. Please cast a Bond 30 to 35! Even Flemmings Bond made it clear 45, you're out.

Capaldi rocks, I'm so glad that he was chosen to be the doctor (I also like his assisant clara (in some ways and she would've made a great bond girl, Jenna Coleman (she's also pretty hot too but anyway back to the topic at hand and again awesome parachute).

Downey jr. was both Holmes and Iron Man, and UNCLE was a tune up bust with no sequel, so it's doable IF the green vegetable permits it.
