How are things on Skywalker ranch?
I have heard a lot underwhelming regarding SPECTRE this last weekend. I can not be bothered to care. Quantum did the series in for me, never bothered with Skyfall, plenty of mates tried to convince me I'd like it. The problem is the feeling I have for the series now is so contaminated, I really need a fresh actor and take on the series to be tempted back. Fresh actor with more painful Bond of Our Lives soap drama, I will forgo that as well.
The story for SPECTRE is so pretentious it is nauseating. What I know of Skyfall is as well. Taking an below average action movie adding spy elements and a dash of 007 trappings does not a good Bond movie make. The fact they add aspects to the characters that are certifiably not supported by the novels (and movies) yet it is somehow looked past baffles me.
By the way if you looking for a few chuckles check out the unofficial novel, Kris and the other really put together something special. (not diminishing anybody's contribution lord know everyone did more than I did, Kris was the ringleader to me anyway)

The Craigskis don't like it because it's too much like a Bond film, and the Classic Bond fans don't like it because of the whole toilet training thing (to steal a line from BJ). I know social media comments don't always reflect real world behaviour, but I wouldn't be surprised if this film doesn't have the legs that Skyfall or CR did.
I'd not read a review prior to watching the film and hadn't prior to writing my own review and underwhelming' was the word I used to best describe the film.
Long time since i've seen you here.............mind you i have only returned recently.
I still remember you referring to Craig as the 'crane jumper' from CR.

It's finding the time to contribute as well as having something worth saying which are the reasons for my non-attendance.
Have you watched Spectre yet EA?
I have and if you haven't I'd save yourself the trouble and expense and just read wikipedia.
