The Weinstein Company's No Escape placed in sixth with an estimated $5.45 million. The action thriller starring Owen Wilson, Pierce Brosnan and Lake Bell was down a solid 33 percent from last weekend. No Escape has grossed $18.45 million through twelve days, which places it 3 percent "ahead" of the $17.98 million twelve-day take of last year's The November Man. BoxOffice is currently projecting a four-day weekend gross of $7.0 million for No Escape...........meanwhile, Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos, a Mexican animated comedy 3D family fare, with a smattering of risque humor, about a hapless rooster who has to save the family farm by competing in a chicken fight, was neck and neck with UNCLE :!:  UNCLE was a wide release film but has an obvious niche audience at best, worldwide.

I don't care if he isn't cast as Bond. As a fan of the Stratton books, I think Cooper will make a fitting Stratton. I have high hopes, especially considering the fact that the film is written by the author of the books.

Why doesn't he look sea sick? That's how Craig would look

An SBS operative who's seasick. That's like an MI6 agent who breaks into his bosses home, doesn't plan ahead (and gets his boss killed) etc...

Yeah, Stratton is an SBS operative loaned out to Military Intelligence.

Cooper is bond material, but he is little too old when cregg leaves...

Cavil was indeed originally cast, but dropped out a week before filming was due to start.

That's true. 3 years between films, and at least a 5th film from Craig.

Tickets for SPECTRE go on sale today, and the official 007 Facebook page is really ramping up the PR offensive. I do hope I won't be the only DCINBer posting snarky comments on there.

No no no no no. Considering he's a traditional classic handsome tall and dark-haired type, he needs to stay away from Babs' regime. Besides, the b1tch is not interested in casting him.

I think he's too old now. He should have been cast in 2006.

If Broccoli gets an urge for Hugh you never know.

She better not get near him, Henry, Christian, Mike or any other traditional tall and dark-haired types. Due to the bad treatment she gave to Pierce, she should stick to casting rotten dogs as Bond. She might well cast Bender as the next Bond.
