I never got how big pros and role in that movie was supposed to be. It's a what's his face movie the guy from night at the. Museum.

Depends on the reviews.

Isn't it a bit risky releasing an R-rated action movie during summer blockbuster season, albeit at the tail end? Seems to me like it should be an autumn release.

Don't know if this is a perfect example, but the EX films (minus 3) were R rated and summer blockbusters.

It's not that I will give up watching Pierce. Rather it's just that I wouldn't be feeling comfortable in watching his new films with anyone who are non-fans since most of them got poor reviews.

It doesn't matter if one movie doesn't get great reviews and that doesn't mean you can not watch those movies with people who are not fans of one actor/actress in that movie. There a lot of example when movies didn't get critical acclaim but public nevertheless enjoyed it. And Brosnan isn't one of the actors that one either absolutely adores or absolutely dislikes. From what I've seen/heard people are generally positive towards him.

Most of his films after GE do not get reviews that are great, and yeah there are some exceptions like The Thomas Crown Affair, Evelyn, The Matador and The Ghost Writer.

The superhero reboot currently holds an abysmal 9% “rotten” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and director Josh Trank didn’t help the bad buzz when he tweeted that the film would have enjoyed better notices if the studio hadn’t meddled. Those 140 characters have since been deleted, but not before they went viral.
Anyone here going to see M:I-5 this weekend instead of Fantastic Bore?

I just got back from seeing MI:5.   That is what a spy film is meant to be like :!: Both ECH-TRE and UNCLE trailers were shown. Cavill looked totally Bondish and Cr-egg, aka Mumbles, looked totally useless.

What James Bond should look like is no longer relevant because he's NOT for us anymore. We got M:I, Kingsman, and UNCLE. And Henry should not go ANYWHERE near Babs, and neither should Mike Fassbender or any other traditional tall and dark-haired handsome actors.

Its not the thing that Henry shouldn't go anywhere near EON its the thing that Babs would never go back to the old Bond style willingly. Now when she got praise for some kind of character devolpment(thats not there anyway) why would she go back?
I think its much easier for them to just copy a little bit of this and a little bit that and try to sell that as "character devolpment". "Going back to Fleming" is their favourite line and a reason for the whole reboot anyway. So they say. Someone should remind them they said that exact thing for previous two movies as well.

Fox's Fantastic Four got a Thing-like pummeling at the box office with a $26.2M first outing, allowing Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation to take #1 for the second weekend in a row. “Fantastic Four’s” weakness was good news for “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” which edged out the comic book movie to capture first place on the box office charts. The Paramount sequel earned a strong $29.4 million in its second week in theaters, pushing its domestic total to $108.7 million. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation soared to #1 overseas again this weekend adding $65.5 million (+1%) from 58 territories. The fifth film in the MI franchise has grossed $156.7 million overseas and $265.35 million worldwide after two weekends of release.

I got a gift card for Showcase Cinemas for my birthday from my parents, but I'm saving it for the Man from UNCLE. Sorry Tom.

IMO fantastic four was never a good idea to reboot . Unless it was being tied in to marvels current universe like spidy.

I don't think the black human torch is a factor either , it s a hard premise to sell with out the marvel universe be hind it.

The xmen are better off in their own universe so they may be the exception .

I never got what the fantastic four were supposed to be about and I didn't hate the old movies. I think there was another fantastic four movie in the 1990s shot but never released so the studios could keep the rights. Poor actors were tricked to work for next to nothing promised the sequels would be big. Sequels they never intended to make . Or to release the movie that was shot .

If you want Fantastic Four on-screen adaptation, watch the 90s cartoon version.
