On the subject of Rupert Friend: if we're going down that road, then I think his buddy Tom Mison would be a better choice:

Image

He's got a Dalton-like quality to his appearance. Right now, he's starring in the hit show Sleepy Hollow, and my wife and I find him engaging. There's a Bondian quality to the way he plays the part, shifting from seriousness, to humor, to action. He's also a hit with the ladies, so my daughters tell me, considering he's got a big following with female fans on social sites. But it's all meaninglessness to the psycho, Her Majesty Barbara Broccoli, because it's obvious her vision of Bond is just wacked out.

Atticus, Broccoli is a demented Bond producer whose logic with the franchise is ridiculous. If she can even consider THIS as a POSSIBLE Bond then this franchise is done for traditionalists :!: Image “The money being placed on Damian to be the next 007 is no coincidence. Barbara is a huge, huge fan of his and it’s no wonder his name is firmly in the frame.”

Atticus wrote:Barbara Broccoli's insanity is once again on public display. The Mirror has an article claiming that she's a big fan of Damien Lewis and, supposedly, she's been chasing the actor for 18 months:

"But James Bond movie boss Barbara Broccoli was telling executives 18 months ago that English gent Damian, 44, who starred as Heny VIII in Wolf Hall, has the potential to play the upper-crust spy."

http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-s ... nd-5895029

So this is yet another example of her vision of Bond. The woman, more than ever, is a pure loony tune. But at the rate she's degenerating, it won't surprise me if she ends up casting Kevin James or David Spade as Bond.

She wants guys whom she likes personally to be Bond. She just can not differ her personal life and her professional one. That's why we ended up with Craig in the first place.

Saw him in "The Young Victoria"...don't think he's handsome really. And he is scrawny somehow.
I don't see that he possesses any qualities of Bond.
Your choice?
No one really. I don't think Bond will return really. I can not see Babs suddenly waking up and realising who and what Bond should be. Tom Hardy also seems to be a favourite-while I like thhey guy and think he is cool I don't see him as Bond.

She is the reason why I don't think we will sesclassic Bond any time soon. I am just hoping Spectre will be Craig's last-him having more movies than Brosnan is like giving a complexed role to Megan Fox instead of Meryl Streep.

And why do you think she is ever going to leave? It's not really possible to actually fire her since she runs the whole thing...the only thing that could put classic Bond back on track is that SPECTRE meets bad reviews and possibly flops on the box office. But even then I think she would give everything she has to give Craig another "Skyfall" after "Quantum of Solace"...SPECTRE being QOS...not that Skyfall was much better than QOS...the whole execution of Silva's plan had NO SENSE AT ALL and there are other holes that you could drive Aston Martin through...
anyway back to the point...even IF classic Bond return(and I don't see how it could) the things will never be the same again.

WORST BOND GIRL

What do you think of this list? How the hell did Solange a.k.a the drop-dead gorgeous Caterina Murino a.k.a the only thing worth remembering from CR got on this list-let alone on no.2 spot?!!And Strawberry Fields?I liked her name(that's the only Bond thing about that movie) and I found Gemma Arteton to be fun in the role...and that's saying something for a movie like QOS.

Wait...Jill Masterson and Anya Amasova are on there but Stacey Sutton isn't? Barely worth even dignifying that list with a response.

I don't find Arteton to be espacially pretty but COME.ON.Her name was STRAWBERRY FIELDS! That's easily the best thing that happened in Craig era.
There was this comments on her death:"Strawberry Fields forever? Not."

Mine as well... Ursulla Andress said how "Bond girls don't sweat. They glow." I wasn't sure what she meant by that until I saw Sophie in TWINE. She not only glows-she radiates. She freacklingly sizzles off the screen. Hot is one thing beautiful is completely another and never have I seen a woman who possesses both these qualities equally.
And you know...for all the faults that film has-you can not deny that it created a great character in Elektra.

I just had a look at their top ten Best Bond Girls list, and Anya Amasova was on it. :?

As for the Worst Bond Girls list, I'll give them credit for being a little more original. Everyone has their own tastes on what they think is the worst or the best.

You don't like Anya? She is usually found on top 10 lists, even top 5. I always found her to be overrated as well. While she is interesting as a character and add to that the fact that Bond killed her lover...but I am just not sold on Barbara Bach's performance. Her delivery is very monotone and seems wooden and amateurish.
It's like Moore is the one providing the chemistry for the two. For me if someone asked what's the most overrated Bond girl(not counting Vesper in CR) it would be between her and Pussy Galore(I know I know...her name is iconic but I was never that fascinated with her)...and I never got the popularity of Wai Lin as well...the whole kickass thing does nothing for me.
