Age... looks... popularity? Sounds like a younger Brosnan, and that is exactly how I see Cavill. Cavill wouldn't be much of an improvement of Craig, so I hope U.N.C.L.E. and the Superman films are successes enough, to keep Cavil away from Bond... well away from Bond.

Unless Babs suddenly gets a stroke she won't drop Craig any time soon...SPECTRE will probably go well on the box office(it has James Bond in its title after all) and we'll see if that movie suddenly gets called "best Bond ever" by the critics...

You can say the same for Mike Fassbender and all other tall dark-haired and handsome actors. I wouldn't want them to get mix with Babs' evil regime.

If Babs still takes charge as producer, you can forget about James Bond PERMANENTLY, and it doesn't matter who plays him.
Pierce should not make any films that are destined to do what Survivor just did. It tarnishes his brand.
I don't think his upcoming films will fare any good at the box office nor get any recognition from high profile movie awards, but we'll see. And would someone please put a bug in Tarantino's ears?

I actually find it rather fascinating how some say Craig is a great actor or even the greatest of them all to play Bond.
Just because there is this whole propaganda of him being a "serious" actor and a "serious" Bond doesn't mean he is a great actor let alone the greatest one.Since when does it mean that an actor that is pulled of as "serious" means he is better than let's say a comedian? Vince Vaughn is not a dramatic actor but he is great for comedies and is very likeable, doesn't that make him a great actor?
To be a likeable actor, for me,means that you have that "something",you specifically need to be likeable...Paul Newman,Cary Grant etc... didn't have an enormous acting talent of lets say Daniel D.Lewis but they were great at who they were. They just had that something that captured people's attention from the first glance.
Roger Moore may not be an actor who could pull of very different characters equally good but I can think of very few actors who are that great of being themselves. Watching Roger Moore,I get the feeling that he puts no effort at all,it all seems so efortless, but you can bet that to make something look efortless is an difficult act.
To be a great Bond you don't need to be an "Oscar" material. Leonardo di Caprio is that material but that doesn't make him a great Bond.D.D. Lewis won Oscar three times but that doesn't make him a great Bond material.
There are numerous actors that truly have a gift for breathe life in various characters but that doesn't make them a Bond material.
Brosnan may not be an equivalent of Al Pacino in Godfather(then again that performance is nailed as one of the greatest in history) but there is a reason why he was nailed as Bond since Remington Steelenand there is a reason why he was awarded from Queen in 2003 for a "outstanding contribution to the british film industry"...
I constantly keep hearing how Craig is a great actor from both Craig fans and people who aren't his fans...honestly,I don't see it...he is totally inexpressive coupled with having no class, charisma, pose, grace, looks or anything that would make him likeable as an actor, let alone as Bond.
And in what else did he star-again?
In the end, even watching Connery(who won an Oscar) as Bond wouldn't make me say he is enormously talented for acting. He is just great at being Bond. He just "had" it...

Honestly,I don't get these Craig fans-I really don't. today I read a comment that it's ridiculous how Bond fixes a tie(not that that's not one of the most iconic things about him ) and how it's ridiculous that a girl is named Chew Mi. Well, that was the point...
And it's also stupid how Bond hooks up with Domino under the water BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. Well, yeah! He is James Bond, after all!! Only he could do that.
I mean, really these poor kids don't get what is the charm of real James Bond AT ALL.

If SPECTRE turns out to be another QOS then it won't be called "best Bond ever"...if it turns out to be another Skyfall...not that that would make movie any good.
And saying that Craig is the best Bond since Connery is like saying Megan Fox has a talent of Meryl Streep...

At least Craig doesnt have that awful haircut in Spectre, that he did in Skyfall.
'Veronica' are you a relatively new member here?.........dont recall your name, when i was last here.
........and how are you BJ?
Spectre, better be a very good film, hope it doesnt dwell into scenes with lots of small talk conversation.
Anyway...........it cant be as bad as QOS...........i still hate that film.
Hello EA!Yeah,I am relatively new-been here since February.
