EXACTLY. That was exactly my point. What did people expect Brosnan to do? Of course he answered that way, no one wants to be called a racist because they don't approve of a colleague who is black, and that's definitely what would have happened.
Also, Kristatos, exactly. He talked about Colin Salmon well before he was asked about Elba, so it's clear that he generally doesn't have a problem with a black Bond. Again, I could see Colin Salmon in the role. NOT Idris Elba. (Provided I am not in favor of turning Bond black because being WASP is an essential trait of the character).

He really couldn't say anything different. Imo he's gone roger Moore mode because he's back on good terms with the Eon. He's not going to say anything negative about the series except to make fun of him self.

I'd be for Elba as M or d**n Near anything else he had a cool factor Craig can't touch.

I know you guys are not going to agree with me, but having a look at the photo shoot in Rome yesterday, Craig probably looks the best I've seen him as Bond. He looks far better than he did in SF with that ugly skinhead, and is it me, or is he actually ageing far better than previous actors who have played Bond?
He seems to look as young as he did 10 years ago in CR. I don't recall any of the other actors ageing this well (particularly Connery in DAF). You could argue that he already looked old when he first played Bond back in 2006....

It's the lighting. It hide his wrinkles. Just look on shaded face- the wrinkles are there, and i still think that he looks like Harrison Ford post-2000s.
Also, he's obviously in some kind of make up. His skin looks too smooth to be true.

If we look at Connery in 1962, then compare to 1971 (the same period as Craig from CR to SPECTRE), and then Moore in LALD and then in AVTAK, you can see the difference....

It's not about 4th movies, but about years passed. Connery from 62 is compared to 71 (the same period from CR to SPECTRE). Connery's 4th film was only 4 years later (hard to believe now, I know).
Moore's same period is actually LALD to OP, not AVTAK (my mistake). But he still looks far older in OP than he did in LALD.
Dalton and Lazenby, well I'm not sure how they looked 10 years after they left Bond. But yes, I agree, Brosnan aged well too.

If (that's if), he had the audience which Brosnan had, there was no reason that Dalton could have gone through till DAD. He hardly aged, but I couldn't imagine Dalton staying for 15 years.

2 more films would have been enough for me (and about as much as I imagine Dalton would have done, unless EON has the rights to CR, to tempt him back for a 5th). Brosnan could still have taken over in 1995.
Denofgeek: Earlier this year, it was revealed that a sequel was in the early stages for the new Pierce Brosnan action thriller, The November Man. Remember it? Probably not: The November Man would go on to flop in the US, grossing just $25m, and when it finally made it to British cinemas, it was released on just one screen (presumably to fill a contractual obligation somewhere along the line). There's been no word yet on the fate of The November Man 2, but the outlook does not seem favorable. It wouldn't be the first time though that a sequel had been loudly mooted before even a first film was released, only to be quietly abandoned when something - usually related to box office takings - didn't go to plan.

It only did $14,862 in all of the UK so maybe they are correct? I still cannot assess the mindset to release it so poorly in the UK. It made no sense. It should have made $10 million in the UK, not the paltry, embarrassing and shocking amount it did there.

If it only played on one screen in the whole country, I would have thought that screen would be in London. The film received virtually no publicity here, so it's quite possible that it only made around $1000 per screen. I've been in cinemas where I'm the only person there before now.
