Where have countless people said that?
Links please.
Not everything is based on links Nash. My comment was in opposition to Arthur Brain's comment on page 80 whereby he stated a person's comment to the BBC.
If you want people to accept what you post as truthful on the internet bj, there's no better way than providing a link.
As with many here, they are few and far between.

So I cannot answer that scenario. Sorry.
Gotta say it's a bit of a weird question bj. :?
It is a simple question, with a simple answer. Who does NASH think is the least attractive of the 6 actors playing Bond? A 2 word answer is all that is required.
Well I wasn't comfortable answering the question as asked. But for me Dalton would be the least attractive of the Bond actors. Loved him as Bond like all of the lead Bond actors. But if I had to pick one I'd say Tim.
Sorry Timbo.
And why DO YOU have to over emphasize words ALL the TIME bj.
It's kind of like Rosie Carver in LALD.
Timothy Dalton is the least attractive James Bond actor?       Yeah, Daniel Craig looks much more like Bond than the short, craggy, ugly Timothy Dalton. You have to laugh.

Yes did you not understand my post above OO7.
MY OPINION IS TIMOTHY DALTON WAS THE LEAST ATTRACTIVE OF THE LEAD BOND ACTORS.
I'VE MADE IT BIGGER FOR YOU AS I SUSPECT YOUR EYESIGHT TO BE POOR.
When in Rome.

I think Roger Moore is the least attractive. Not starting a flame war, I'm being completely honest. Daniel Craig is more attractive than Roger Moore... IN MY OPINION.

Shock? Come on, this isn't a big leap as say Sean Connery to Fat Bas***d. There are people out there who find Daniel Craig more attractive for reasons whatever. You may disagree but don't shock and try to pull out pictures to unconvince people of their opinions.

Hell, I'll put up pictures myself and have my opinion intact.

EA wrote:What i was saying was that for the reboot thing in CR, i dont think the public worldwide would of accepted a very young Bond, after having a 40 something Bond in the previous 40 years of Bond movies.
It may not of been literally correct to the novels, but cinematically it
worked perfectly.
I think some of you guys are to analytical of the Bond thing.........
remember the Bond films you say you liked were even further away
from Flemings visions of the character.
At least those films didn't try to present itself as "I am a serious Flemingesque Bond." Those films you are talking about are very exciting action movies with the James Bond persona/idea in it (sophisticated, charming, gentlemanly spy/action hero). Did Fleming wrote Bond as a young, unrefined person at age 40 on Casino Royale? I don't think so, but why do they call EON's current movie "Flemingesque"?
BOND sells, NOT CRAIG
The reboot is a risky area, did Eon need to do it? NO. Did this confuse alot of people? YES.
The Bond character will always be anchored in the values of the 60s

Here is a picture of Roger Moore as James Bond. The scary thing is, Moore is over a decade older than Craig was in CR in the picture below!

This reminds me of the time Cbn had a thread where you had to say who you thought was the ugliest Bond. Of course they couldn't leave the collective and admit that Craig was obviously the most ordinary person to be 007 in terms of looks so they ended up saying Lazenby was the ugliest Bond. I think that was the moment I realised everyone had gone mad.

So what you morons are saying is that unless your opinion is that Daniel Craig is the worst and ugliest man to play James Bond, then you will be shot down and savaged by the sites pack dogs.
What happened to freedom of speech?
I'm sure I'll get the Mi6 and CBn do it spiel now, how original.

Blimey

James Bond isn't supposed to be a beauty queen.

If Craigs looks were say as craggy as those of say Sid James, then you
would have a point.

Anyway the ladies luv him............and i think EON were trying to get a
person with a more natural acting ability, not a Moore (raised eyebrows)
or Brosnan (forced grimace) approach to acting.

Moving away from the 'ugly man contest'.........What do you guys make
of Haggis's comments on his writing for Bond 22?

He says the new film will continue 2 minutes after CR (why 2 minutes
i dont know, maybe Bond has a sandwich break!!).

The new film would continue with the same sort of tone as set out in CR,
and would have more realistic fight scenes.

Sounds good to me! :) :)

'BJ'

A couple of questions for you.........

Whenever i go on the internet to visit Bond sites, i always seem to
come across your name!.........but i dont ever recall seeing your name
crop up at CommanderBond.net when i posted there during the cinema run of CR.
Were you, or are you a member there, and did you have a different
name?

.........and we all know you dont like DC, but who of the previous actors
did you like in the role? Just curious!!

EA :) :)

To go back to Dalton and Craig. Rolling Stone said that Dalton looked like he was genetically engineered to play James Bond. I don't think anyone has ever said that about Craig.

I posted under my "known name" at CB.net for a short time. I found it more of a Craig lovefest than MI6 and stopped posting there. I go back to read some of the posts occasionally. In regard to your other question, I thoroughly enjoy Connery as my favorite, with Moore second, and Brosnan third. Lazenby and Dalton I tolerate and do watch their films, but not with the same gusto as the films of the other three.I too was not thrilled with (the second half of) DAD and found that script lacking, but I do watch it. I find Craig intolerable to watch as Bond.

Shot down and savaged Nash? By whom? You ARE welcome here, it is just fascinating to see people's different subjective interpretations. You know your stuff when it comes to Bond facts. Discussing how some people find Craig less appealing in the looks department than other Bonds is what defines a lot of the division in the Bond fan world.

Perhaps being one of the Men of the Year on People Magazine for his portrayal of James Bond doesn't count? GQ? Esquire?

Nah he's too ugly because you guys say so. Sienna Miller is nodding with all of you on that subject.

All part of the record $120 million promotion budget for CR. Where was Craig's face on any magazine covers before CR?

And that's Daniel Craigs fault and bad because???
Surely promoting a new movie is never a bad thing. Seems you'll do anything to badmouth anyone BJ. What a strange person you are. Is everything negative with you?
