I honestly couldn't fathom Sir Rog in TLD. By the time AVTAK came out the media were getting really critical of how old he was. One paper even joked that Q Branch's next gadget would be incorparated into a zimmer frame! Apparently Moore visited the Pinewood set during the filming of TLD and when asked by security why he was there he quipped that there had been a casting mistake and he was answering an SOS call!

TLD does seem to have some Roger Moore moments.Dalton isn't really good with one liners and for it felt kind of akward when he was saying them.Just as Sir Rog isn't good with being a coldblooded and ruthless(the scene with Andrea in TMWTGG-totally akward) Dalton isn't good with one-liners.I would be kind of interested to see young Dalton in OHMSS.Brosnan in CR(although the film would have to be a little diffirent-for example that terminator running at the beggining-yeah,no.Bond is not Stalone)
