Hello my darlings!! I just saw this and thought of all of you, of course.

This was just posted on Twitter by We Got This Covered.
Their headline:
Henry Cavill Is A Suave Secret Agent In First Official Photos From The Man From U.N.C.L.E. http://bit.ly/VLaBRs
No kidding. CONTRARY to someone else, he has it in him to play a suave secret agent. Remind you of THE suave secret agent? Right.

Will you see The November Man when it is released in Europe? Napolean Solo wll invalidate his Bond chances.

Looks retro 007.

November Man: Total Budget*: $37,000,000 BoxOffice.com's total budget numbers are a combination of production budget figures and estimated domestic P&A costs.

That's what boxoffice.com says. It's only playing in the USA so far. Once it goes international, those costs go up too........NM was 5th overall again weekend 2.

I have read very flattering reviews for Pierce, and heard them too. Everyone's saying how he's the best looking man at every age and how great he is in the role.
BY the way, I have also read OTHER stuff about the Craigster that I was completely unaware of. Like the fact he's known in Hollywood for being less than bright (various set anecdotes in this sense) and that his wife is merrily seeing other people while he is left in a corner? (I tried to put it in an elegant way). And, documented with photos, dates etc, I'm not talking about idle chatter. I had no idea.

Mrs. Cr-egg cheats on her water buffalo?
Why did she marry him in the first place? Rachel must be as big of a loser as he is
Cr-egg looks as dumb as nails and his career is basically OVER
No studio wants him. Cavill is being wasted by Eon. Broccoli is feminizing her father's legacy as her doltish half brother hibernates in museums staring at the walls. Movember Man is a well done film for the money spent on it. You should enjoy it. When will it open in Europe?

I have no answers for you on the why, but you know what we say in Italian? "Chi si piglia si assomiglia". Which means those who pick each other are like one another. All I know is it has not only happened (her merrily finding, um, other gentlemen to accompany herself with?) but happened repeatedly and openly, so much so that he is left home alone and people know. I also knew that he wasn't particularly loved in the business at all (well, the fact he gets no big leading man parts other than Bond shows it), but I didn't know that he is also considered (unsurprisingly) not exactly the sharpest pencil in the box. Eon had and has a GOLDMINE in Henry Cavill who could be Bond for a MINIMUM ten years and who is loved literally by everyone, because he is a class act and a genuinely nice guy. I can tell you right now that MGM wanted him and would take him in a heartbeat. And I say so knowing how those who own the company feel.
We'll see how things evolve. One thing is quite clear to me... I don't think they'll manage to find someone WORSE than Craig, so even if it isn't Cavill, the next actor to play Bond has got to be an improvement. At this point even Fassbender, whom I don't even like, would be an improvement. I have said that I would even take Tom Hiddleston. And I am not joking. He is SUUUPER nice, smart and funny so press-wise he would be a dream. Now my latest idea is also Tom Ellis. Do you know him? He is English, but plays and American genius of medicine with a massive drug problem (LOL) in this new, very enjoyable show called Rush, on USA Network. He was in UK series Merlin before that. He is VERY good. They made a Bond reference on the show when he put on a nice tux. His assistant said "daniel craig eat your heart out", to which I said "doesn't take much" LOL. And he then told her "Moneypenny, you can take the rest of the evening off" and Tom joked on Twitter about how he finally could use his actual British accent in a scene. I swear to you those 15 seconds of dialogue and him were more Bondian than ANY moment in the Cr-egg's movies. LOL.
Here he is:

He doesn't have blue eyes though and that's a major problem. LOL.
Still... better than the Craigster any day.

First things first, Babs has to go. Otherwise, you might as well cast anyone or anything as Bond.Alessandra wrote:We'll see how things evolve. One thing is quite clear to me... Broccoli MUST go or the franchise will further deteriorate. Eon must be bought out once and for all by MGM and Sony. I still do not understand why Rachel married her cornish game hen?

Alessandra! *waves* I had heard the cheating rumors before..I don't think that's any secret..IIRC there were a lot of rumors about him cheating when he was with Satsuki.
In other news, my friend Erika went to a convention in Indianapolis and met Mads Mikkelsen. She said he was very sweet and got her picture with him.

Why does the Eon transvestite put up with Rachel cheating? They sound like 2 losers who deserve each other. Cr-egg may go into a depressed state one day and pull a Brooks Hatlen from Shawshank

I don't want to be too unkind I never thought there was much real about their marriage. They sunk off to the court house with a handful of witnesses. Something about it felt more business than love.Alessandra wrote:Oh, excellent about Mr. Mikkelsen.kater23 wrote:Alessandra! *waves* I had heard the cheating rumors before..I don't think that's any secret..IIRC there were a lot of rumors about him cheating when he was with Satsuki.

I may be way off and obviously there shouldn't be cheating but it's a Hollywood marriage so cheating is probably going to happen at some point.
I've got a question when the thunderball rights were bought who owns them MGM or eon / Danjaq? If it's MGM and if they own the CR rights too then with half Danjaq they own more of the bond rights than eon.

The franchise has already been further deteriorated. Believe me, there will be so-called classics that will use DC Bonds as models of inspiration. For example, OHMSS was used as a model of inspiration for Inception (which we all enjoy). If DC Bonds will be used as models, then why not future Bond films starring someone who looks less Bond than DC is?bjmdds wrote:Broccoli MUST go or the franchise will further deteriorate.
