Curious if it is true.

It'll be interesting to see who budges, if this story is true. Craig is always *saying* that he wants to get out of his Bond contract, but I can't see him killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. Expect to see him in Bond 24 with a strangely reinvigorated appearance.Blowfeld wrote:Curious if it is true.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
His tenure will end sooner than we thought. Then FBF can select his proper 7th 007 and Eon will select their's.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Unless EON decide that Craggy is so essential to the series that they're prepared to put up with his wizened appearance. But will Babs (and Amy Pascal) still love him when he's old and gray?bjmdds wrote:His tenure will end sooner than we thought. Then FBF can select his proper 7th 007 and Eon will select their's.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
He was hideous in CR and that was 8 years ago. He's only gotten worse daily. Moore at 46 did his first Bond and looked more youthful than Cr-egg now at 46. Cr-egg's tenure could end at 47 next year while Moore's launched at 46. Irony indeed. Throw the bum out already
........it's on another website now too http://www.showbizspy.com/article/27757 ... 42014.html http://www.showbizspy.com/article/27039 ... 82014.html Where is Ale to comment on this recent interesting and hopefully franchise changing news?

With over four weeks of theatrical engagements, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 led the box office in May with $191.6 million. The movie opened to $91.6 million on the first weekend of the month, then fell off at least 52 percent on each of the next three weekends.
It's on track to close with around $200 million, which will make this the lowest-grossing Spider-Man movie by over $60 million. The foreign market is subsidizing this domestic shortfall a bit, though it's still undeniable that this entry marks a new low point for the 12-year-old franchise.
Godzilla took second place in May with $171 million. As one of the most-anticipated movies of the Summer, it opened to a fantastic $93.2 million; unfortunately, poor word-of-mouth translated in to a massive 67 percent second weekend drop. Ultimately, it will struggle to reach $200 million total, which means it's going to sell fewer tickets than the much-maligned 1998 Godzilla movie.

Barbara loves that Pug like face. I can see MGW suddenly opine on how not only was 007 the first anti-hero he was the first ugly cinema star and fact of the matter they combine make-up along with CGI to allow Daniel to appear even older. All to realise Ian Fleming's truest intentions of course, not his sister's possibly twisted desires.Kristatos wrote:It'll be interesting to see who budges, if this story is true. I can respect Daniel if he truly does not want a face lift. So much can go wrong, as well as they probably already do so much to his face as it is. Probably needs time to cleanse what ever those treatments are out of his system. Also I'm not sure the healing time would be enough for a movie that has to be shot in the next six months.

But as some critics who adored Daniel in CR said at the time (2006) 'He will need a facelift before the next one.'
I'm sure I mentioned this before n the last few years I re-watched the Sharpe's Rifles\Eagle\Gold and so on (TV programme). Daniel was in one of the first adventures filmed in the early 90s making him twenty-four maybe twenty-five. To my eyes he looked closer to late thirties to early forties.
Of course I could be mistaken most of the cast was thirties to forties, including the female cast and the new Midsomer Inspector Barnaby. Daniel was probably one of the youngest cast members he didn't look it to my eyes.

I'd like the facelift story to be true the only way to be rid of him is for him to quit I don't think he can do anything to be fired

I can't imagine that harpy firing the baboon. How real is this story? I'm not familiar with this website, however showbiz spys has it too. http://www.showbizspy.com/article/27757 ... 42014.htmlbjmdds wrote:classicalite.com:In what must be the exception that proves the rule, rumor has it that 007 Skyfall husband Daniel Craig is feeling pressure from the studio to get a facelift before the next Sam Mendes directed James Bond instalment, Bond 24, while the world still raves over his wife's Rachel Wiesz uncompromised beauty in her latest film Lobster. Rumor has it that the only reason the studio isn't pushing Craig even harder is they are afraid he might split. It is looking more and more like Daniel Craig's unsteady marriage to the Bond franchise may end in its inevitable divorce even sooner than anyone anticipated. 46-year-old actor Daniel Craig isn't the man that he used to be, or at least he doesn't really look like the man he used to be. Rumor has it that as the earth's cruel joke, gravity, continues to ravage the poor man's face so severely that the 007 producers are afraid that the audience will think that James Bond was exposed to some sort of severe radiation leak between films.
An insider told OK! Magazine that the only thing that scares the powers that be more than Craig's deflated face, is his overinflated sense of self:
"Producers have noticed that he hasn't aged well since shooting Casino Royal in 2006 and that he may be in need of a face-lift.
"[But] he doesn't desire to go under the knife...They're scared he'll blow up at them."
If they can talk the reluctant geriatric into the doctors off, Daniel will have more than enough time to fully recuperate before it's time to start filming, as director Sam Mendes and Bond 24 co-writer John Logan haven't come close to finishing the script yet.
They have a short clip and a link to another story saying he needs Botox after arriving at a gala
OMG! Daniel Craig is Looking OLD!
The Skyfall star, 46, showed off his VERY wrinkly forehead — and receding hairline — at the Opportunity Network’s 7th annual “Night of Opportunities” Gala in New York last night.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Following the departure of Edgar Wright from the project, early reports cited Marvel talking to three possible replacements: Anchorman’s Adam McKay, Zombieland’s Ruben Fleischer, and Rawson Marshall Thurber of We’re The Millers fame. Since then, both McKay and Thurber have reportedly turned down offers, leaving only Fleischer in the running. So, that means the job is his by default, right…? Well, not exactly; reports have claimed that he wasn’t that into the possibility in the first place, preferring the possibility of making the equally-troubled Ghostbusters 3.
So where does that leave Ant-Man? The short answer is “in trouble.” The project isn’t just missing a director; sources have also said that the production’s heads of department also left when Wright departed, making it all that much less likely that the movie will meet its July 17, 2015 opening date. Will a new director be found quickly enough to make the deadline, or will the release date get shifted? More to the point, given the project’s troubled history, will a new director be found who’s willing to take on what’s beginning to look like a poisoned chalice of a movie? As with so many superhero stories, the story of Ant-Man remains to be continued.

Whether his tenure will end sooner or not, it doesn't matter. Bond's a zombie now, and he can't be saved even if DC leaves as the DC Virus has infected the general public.bjmdds wrote:His tenure will end sooner than we thought. Then FBF can select his proper 7th 007 and Eon will select their's.

But there are vaccines to combat virurses so there needs to be a dose of Cavill anti-serum injected into the equation to cure the Cr-egg disease globally, right FBF?

The ship has sailed for Cavill. He won't be Bond and neither will any actors with classic looks.bjmdds wrote:But there are vaccines to combat virurses so there needs to be a dose of Cavill anti-serum injected into the equation to cure the Cr-egg disease globally, right FBF?
