Cr-egg got more air time than the Oh-bama, whose poll numbers are his lowest ever, at 41%
Cr-egg does not look well at all. Maybe the steroids he used in CR to bulk up his body have caught up to him.

Not to diminish the message which at the core of it is never something I'd criticize. However the man who was abused by his 007 lady boss appears to be detoxing. Either this or perhaps it is the best damned Reverend Jim ("Taxi") costume I've ever seen.bjmdds wrote:Here we go again![]()

He reminds me of Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men.

Yeah.. it's a good message.. I just think using a rough looking Daniel Craig is not such a good idea.

Does anyone else read alternate history? I've been reading an interesting one called Fear, Loathing and Gumbo on the Campaign Trail '72. I've just got up to the point where the IRA have kidnapped Roger Moore and have failed to kidnap Sean Connery.
Also, I noticed that today is May day and I immediately thought of A View to a Kill.

No word on Cavill anywhere. It's as if Affleck is taking over the production.

Really? I seem to remember Spiderman 3 getting bad reviews when it came out.bjmdds wrote:"Making matters worse, the movie appears to be the first Spider-Man outing to get the "Rotten" designation on Rotten Tomatoes."

Are you having a bet? Is it legal!bjmdds wrote:Will California Chrome win the Kentucky Derby tomorrow? http://ts1.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.6080038 ... 91&pid=1.7
Daniel Craig should wear that jean jacket and have that haircut from the ad in the next Bond.

Bring back Bond!

Anyone can bet. It's legal and popular. 19 horses will race and longshots win a lot of the time. "Medal Count" will be a nice long shot chance too. It's time for Cr-egg to vacate the role and retire from show business.

One of the harshest reviews comes courtesy of Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal. "How bad is this one, though?" he writes. "Amazingly so. Villainy abounds, but the villains are strident contrivances," and "Webb's direction is so coarse, and the production's tone is so variable, that the Marvel hero soon comes off as a wise guy, then as bipolar, at the very least."
Morgenstern's coup de grace: "This franchise needs more than a reset. It's ripe for retirement."

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Sam Mendes has now confirmed that Bond 24 -- which he is returning to direct -- builds off the events of Skyfall, with characters from his first Bond flick reappearing, and aged.
On the Charlie Rose show, Mendes explained Bond 24's link to Skyfall, saying that with his second Bond film he will be "creating the second part of a two-part story." While the film isn't a "direct narrative connection," it features returning characters from Skyfall, now aged and clearly affected by the previous film. Bond 24 will complete "a number of stories that are left incomplete" from the first film.
Mendes also reveals that while he and screenwriter John Logan will return for Bond 25,
it will not be a direct continuation of Bond 24. You can check out the full interview with Mendes on the Charlie Rose show below (he begins talking about Bond in around the 17-minute mark):

What the hell is this with aging the characters?! Craig look like hell in SF and now they are going to age him more? Well I guess he looks like he ages like dog years so maybe they have to
