Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
In a rather shocking yet unconfirmed development, 20th Century Fox has reportedly fired director Josh Trank from The Fantastic Four, while also discarding the screenplay from writer Simon Kinberg, less than six months before production is scheduled to begin.
Bleeding Cool reports that the studio is actively searching for a new writer and director, and that there are also casting issues as well. We reported last month that Michael B. Jordan (Johnny Storm/The Human Torch), Miles Teller (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara (Sue Storm/The Invisible Girl) and Jamie Bell (Ben Grimm/The Thing) officially signed on after months of casting speculation.
It isn't known if these "issues" refer to these actors who have already signed on, or other characters that have yet to be cast. We reported earlier this week that Domhnall Gleeson, Eddie Redmayne, Sam Riley and Toby Kebbell were the front runners to play the villainous Dr. Doom.
We'll have to wait and see whether the studio will confirm this report or not. If it does turn out to be true, the June 19, 2015 release date will likely have to be pushed, since there may not be enough time to develop a new script in just six months.
The Fantastic Four comes to theaters June 19th, 2015 and stars Michael B. Jordan, Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell. The film is directed by Josh Trank......Late Friday afternoon, the website Bleeding Cool reported Twentieth Century Fox was so unhappy with how director Josh Trank and writer Simon Kinberg were handling "Fantastic Four" that the studio was prepared to replace them. Or not: As ScreenCrush found out from Fox, not only is "Fantastic Four" on track to hit its April 21 production start, but Trank is actually on the film's set right now. (HuffPost Entertainment contacted representatives for Trank for further comment on this story.)..........{this film will go nowhere. The casting is an abomination and a disgrace}

I'm just saying that those Pro-Craig minions should go watch Fat Seagal's Attack Force if they still failed to see the true grit of Pierce.
That is the real question here. When is the release date already?

Daniel Craig Gets a Front Row Seat at a Murder Trial....................According to courthouse rumblings, Craig is researching his upcoming role as a district attorney in the thriller The Whole Truth, that's also rumored to star Renee Zellweger, which would be her foray back into film after a four-year hiatus. He was spotted sitting in a Boston courtroom during a murder trial Thursday. It's also Craig's first role in two years after Skyfall. (this reeks of a real successful film......NOT
I'd rather stare at chilled monkey brains than see this film, which will flop quite quickly, if it ever gets finished.) http://cdn01.cdnwp.celebuzz.com/wp-cont ... -in-SC.png

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Well, if it was coming up this year, it would've been revealed a lot earlier. But, it's March already, and to schedule a release date you need a year for it, at least. So, don't expect November Man for 2014, but rather 2015.

As for Bond chasing the Oscars, I wish the films would just concentrate on being Bond films.

Broccoli said work has already begin on the secret agent's next adventure.
"We are at early stages, we start filming at the end of the year and the next film will come out at the end of 2015, so it's an exciting time for us."
"We've been working on the script with John Logan, Sam Mendes and Daniel [Craig], and it's evolving. This is the exciting bit when we get to get all the creative forces together and start developing the action sequences, and the sky's the limit at the moment," she said. Skyfall is the highest grossing film of the series so far and Michael G Wilson said he feels no pressure going into the next project. "It's exciting when you come off the back of a successful film and obviously the public agrees with you. We are going to try to continue on that vein and keep doing something right again."

Rehan Jalali @SixPackDietPlan-----Quick Update: Met up w/Batman and Operation Biggest/Leanest/Baddest Batman Eva is on schedule! #DarkKnight
7:56 PM - 12 Mar 2014----------------Affleck is likely bulking up for the role in order to go head-to-head with Henry Cavill, who played Superman in Man of Steel and will reprise the role for the sequel.
Affleck has received a lot of criticism ever since his casting as Batman was announced in August 2013. Most recently, actor Seth Green criticized the casting choice, suggesting that Affleck was not capable of standing side-by-side with Cavill's Superman.
"If this movie is meant to be the idealistic alien, humans-before-all-else Superman, and this is supposed to be the grizzled, weathered Batman who's been living in Gotham, fighting crime himself for 10 years, you need a guy who's older," Green explained in February. "You need a guy's who's got more weight, you need a guy that a Henry Cavill Superman is gonna be actually scared of."

I didn't know Brosnan was doing a new spy film. I'm looking forward to it. The most recent thing I saw him in was Mamma Mia, he was a better Bond than he was a singer.

I watched some of the 1985 tv film Florence Nightingale today as a tribute to Timothy Dalton. Hopefully I can watch all of it when it is repeated.

It would be interesting to see the chemistry between Tim and Ben if the former was cast as Alfred.

Tim would be a better Alfred than this loser as Batman: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-HdsiPHSKM18/U ... ffleck.jpg FBF, save your money in 2016 when this one underperforms after 2 weeks of bad word of mouth.
