Roger Deakins is not returning for the next film. Btw, notice the posters slating Skyfall & even DC on the above link.

We know BB likes rough looking thespy types and doesn't care how tall Bond is so I would imagine Tom Hardy is on her radar. Depends on how long Craig plans to stay around.

Well said!

I know, it's more than just frustrating. Who would have accepted an offer like that? And yet he calls himself 'Bond'?
Craig has no love for Bond from the beginning he said Bond is the man we love to hate. He was talking about his "Bond Begins" and how his Bond wasn't "Bond", stuff like this. how is he the men we all love to hate? Who thinks this way about him? Certainly not the fans who spent billions seeing the movies. It reflects the view of a certain elitist click in Hollywood. Danny dressing in drag while being yelled at by his female superior he would be only too happy to do it.

yep but it's a start. Going to a lot of movie forum it was not as well love as the fan boards like to believe. A lot of people early on thought it was way over hyped and ebay was flooded with blind buyers who regretted it.

I do think Deakins was perhaps the only Oscar worthy thing in the movie. Adel was only nominated to get her on stage at at the right parties after.

Daltonite Toothpaste wrote:If the next Bond is a success, he will then be praised at the expense of Craig. But this smear campaign against Brosnan is a myth.

As for a member praising Craig in the action scenes, I don't like Craig but his is a more athletic Bond than Brosnan.
the closest to a slam Dalton every got was Brosnan's first trailer where he said were you expecting someone else? 2005-6-7 there was a ton of things slamming the man coming from his former employers. Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton never got whoever coming out and saying you know the new guy sweats the last guy perspired. But then they weren't an embarrassment from day one and had stories about them not driving stick and skin problems filming on the beach, not liking sex scenes, not seeing a bond since 70. so it was a special case for hurting the last actor and building up the new guy, I doubt they'll do it again but I still think suddenly Craig's movies will be recognized as over hyped just as soon as he quits.

I do agree with you that the actors while in the role are untouchable as soon as they leave its PC to hate on them. Fanfourms are full of guys who loved Pierce then loved Craig, a few people I can respect bothered to criticize/praise pierce, dalton, Moore, Connery, keep those views even as the politics liking or dishing on the movie casting changes.

'Piers Morgan Live' Hits Second Lowest Adults 25-54 Rating Ever:
On Tuesday, February 18, CNN’s Piers Morgan Live delivered its second lowest rated episode among adults 25-54 since the program launched, with 50,000 viewers in the demo. The lowest rated episode was on May 15, 2012 when the show delivered 39,000 Adults 25-54. CNN 's primetime average from 8-11PM was the sixth lowest performance for CNN in two decades in total viewers (274,000) and adults 25-54 (64,000). (why is this crumb on tv?)

Piers Morgan is an utter idiot. Remember when someone told him "I've met lots of idiot people, from every country, but you're the first idiot Brit I've come across". LOL!! Remember when Morgan identified himself as an anti-gun person? Pathetic.

Article from Den of Geek on how the Bond series could have gone differently. I doubt anyone here will learn anything new from it, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

The ESQUIRE new cable channel showed LALD and AVTAK last night. Tonight it will show FRWL and GF. These are Bond films :!: The scene in LALD in NYC on the FDR drive early on where Bond's driver gets a dart in his head is a road I was just on last week and travel on often when I go to Manhattan. In 1973 it was an exciting location I would bet to watch the new 007 acting on the street near the ferry terminal.

The guy is a clueless, annoying rodent who should be fired and sent packing already. Television is a wasteland devoid of true talent. The Jimmy Fallon's Jerry Lewis shtick can only go so far over time on the Tonight Show.

The entire television and media are dominated and controlled by the lefties, BJ. They are trying to poison the people as much as they can.

The article says: "The Living Daylights (1987) saddled him [Dalton] with a rocket powered car that fired lasers out of the side".

Do the "Fleming purists" who only like three Bond movies and the Craig ones complain about that?

I've heard some of them complain about how Bond and Kara tobogganing in a cello case was too campy, but I personally thought that scene was pretty cool and clever.

I see that sequence as showing Bonds ingenuity, thinking on his feet.

It did. I thought it was a great blend of the unusual solution Bond came up with, you know thinking on his feet, but not getting ridiculous.

Craig would grunt punch out Kara leaver her unconscious in the snow to freeze to death and charge the border on his own like a linebacker.

Forget using the laser in the car he would flip it first and look forward to the long torture session ahead of him.

He will then spend the rest of the film moping (and pouting) because he failed to save Kara.
