who inherits Bond after Barbara Broccoli?

I'm just wondering since she and Michael G. Wilson had worked their way up during the earlier Bonds. But I'm curious if there is a 3rd generation Broccoli involved in the films? I doubt their will be a change in EON's leadership for a while, but time does march on.

According to the IMDb, Michael G. Wilson's two sons have worked in various capacities on the last 3 Bond films, so my money would be on them.

Michael G Wilson has two sons that have at one point or another worked on Bond films.
I'm unsure as the whether Barbara Broccoli has any children, but I'm sure it'll be a long time before we need to worry that a Broccoli isn't asscoiated with a Bond film.
There's also the rest of the family, brother Tony and sister Tina may have an interest in the continuation of the family business.
It would be a very sad day to have a Bond film, without the contribution from one of the Broccoli's though.

It's hard to say. I just think that Barbara Broccoli is now out of ideas and can only destroy the legend of Bond (first two steps - Daniel Craig and Casino Royale) There is need a young producer, someone who will go through this project by heart. But who? I still don't know his name

Barbara Broccoli doesn't control the Bond franchise on her own, her step brother Michael G Wilson works alongside of her too you know.
Both have many many years experience of making these films, and doing for the most part a great job (I wont mention DAD), but on the whole it is only a very small minority who are opposed to Daniel Craig and the direction of the series. The masses were impressed, and have shown there appreciation of this in the box office grosses, the critical opinions and award nominations.
So you keep looking for your younger guy. (Slightly femminist too isn't it?), I'm more than happy with the people we have at the helm myself.

Looking at the outcome of CR and Craig, I doubt many would see your viewpoint that Babs is destroying the franchise. On the contrary, with CR she has recharged, reinvigorated and reinvented it.

Had you said she was close to destroying it back in 2002, I would have agreed with you.....

DAD was considered a success in financial terms only - not critical success too.

If I may borrow Darwin's phrase, "We may well surmise ..." (guessing over 400 times), I would surmise that the 'critical success' is mostly from critics who have not read the novels, and see Bond as just another action hero. Otherwise, they would have seen at the very first glance that Craig does not resemble in any way the Bond of the books, physically or psychologically.

Yes. Daniel Craig's bond is just another action hero - a poor man's John McClane, Jason Bourne, Frank Martin et al.

Yet the violent tone of the film, and main plot did resemble the novels - something critics were actually aware of, which suggest they have read the novels.

It may also explain why they despised DAD, as this film did not represent the Fleming novels at all (with exception to the leading man sharing similar descriptive characteristics).

Check out the other Bond forums. There is a girl from Trinidad who is pro Craig. There's also pro Craig members from France, Germany, Switzerland, etc. (just off the top of my head...there's probably plenty more).
