Marc Forster to direct Bond 22

Post by Captain Nash »

The 22nd Bond film will be directed by German born director Marc Forster, it was revealed this week.
And it seems that with new Bond Daniel Craig playing the secret agent for a second time, this next Bond film could be another winner.

But it still took in close to $600 million US, and won more critical and general praise than any Bond film that I can recall.
The funny thing for me is, the way the boycott worked, and all the negative fans (and they're entitled to feel that way) actually helped DC and CR more than they would've liked.
Role on B22, a second outing, with another quality director.

Marc who ? What has he ever done ? What action films has he directed ? No doubt bigger names were approached, but after seeing the low budget Martin Campbell was given for CR they decided to stick with the American blockbusters. CR did'nt get more general praise than any other Bond film. It split the public in half. Some drooled over it, some hated it. Three sites were set up against Craig - CNB, AB & SS & these sites are still going. However the mainstream press loved it. Can't see why myself.

You know sites like DCINB.com are vocal minorities right? Fans were not split into 50/50. It's more like a piece missing out of a big ten slice pie, those who don't like Craig happen to be the missing piece out of the pie. At least some members actually acknowledge that and don't go in over their heads. It wasn't just the media or the press, look at the voting systems with Craig winning praise, it shows he gained popularity.

And come on, CR made a $100 million leap from DAD, again with lots of praise. Those two factors surpassed everyone's expectations yet there are always some out there who are plugging their ears and humming to themselves away from all this. You want some of that good pie? I tell ya they got the kind of pie that'll kill ya!

Bond 22 could be getting an alpine setting. Director Marc Forster has hinted that Daniel Craigs follow up Bond adventure might be shot in the alps.
Both CBn

Of course this is still un-confirmed and early days, but I do like some skiing action, and the locale is generally breathtaking.

As long as they don't stick any Beach Boys songs over the action sequences
