Soon as cregg finishes bond he'll look like the melting face nazis in raiders of the lost ark (he's starting to resemble that already, along with one of the evil nazi guys who was there in that part in the film), it really sucks to have a good guy look like a villain..

Shaken, it's all over. You know it, I know, and FBF has known it a long time. MI:5 is our new target spy film, right FBF?

I know, like I mentioned before bond has his 40 years of fame, now all he has is lord knows how many years of shame, too many things I've liked have changed for the worse and no longer made Me a fan of them, guess hawkeye will be the bond film from now on and black widow and ironman 3 is looking bloody impressive.

Maybe I'll leave the site soon :( (not that I want to) but if it's already over not much point in being here anymore :( , the resident evil games turned to crap completely abanding survival horror to be call of duty (and capcom even stated that's what they wanted), even if that has some bond moments fbf that's not what re is about (that's why I hate ada wong with a passion, only good in re2 before she tried to be like trinity from the matrix along with everyone else in them).

If Cubby Brocoli were still alive today he'd be heartbroken to see this.

Craig says he's contracted to do two more films, but I'm always seeing articles about Sony wanting him to stay on for five more, making it a total of eight. And then there's Barbara, who is infatuated with Craig so much, that she never wants to let him go. If things keep going the way they are, Craig could possibly stay in the role of Bond until he looks something like this:

I notice in her latest round of interviews Barbara keeps referring to Daniel Craig as a "great movie star". Bond sells whoever is playing him but DC can't draw flies outside the series so I think it might be stretching it somewhat to call him a "movie star".

You need to stay here and discuss any other topics Shaken. This is a forum for all things non-Bond and it will show that over time too. Bond of the past is always cherished here for discussion. It's just the resident evil at Eon you referred to that is ruining it for many.

A nomination for Daniel Craig as Bond should not be out of the question either, according to Broccoli, who described him as “that extraordinary combination of movie star and great actor”. Who can relate to this Eon loon who truly believes this? The interviewer at the end of the above link said that Bond 23 is Judi Dench's Bond film and DC agreed to that notion. Judi Dench is THE central figure in this film? They are pushing for her to get an Oscar as well.

umm Dench can win a award for just about any of her roles, this year alone. She doesn't need Bond Broccoli and Craig need Bond

I don't doubt Cubby would be heart broken to see his legacy treated like this. He put most of his adult life make something his daughter disassembled in less than 10 years. IMO he'd be happy to get accolades but I don't think he'd sacrifice 40 years to get it.

Can't be much can it, the bloody books weren't burned. Fleming's James Bond always regretted killing but accepted the necessity of it along with the role he had to play.

I'm thinking the short stories may have a higher body count than some of the novels killing drug dealers and such.

What do we considered a kill ? He never actually killed Le Chiffre.

Consider yourself so warned mate  I expect a giddy school girlish review from you this Friday

BTW Adele's song is not going to be on the album, I'm not sure what this will mean for sales, it was a good move on Adele's part she'll make her fair share for certain. It's as someone said she could sing the restaurant menu and it'd be a hit.

The problem is Daniel Craig is starting to dominate the whole series and I'm almost put off watching the old films and reading the Fleming novels because they remind me of Craig and Barbara Broccoli with her ridiculous statments. If Craig is Bond and his Bond movies are great Bond movies then I hate James bond. I think Bond films are tedious and that James Bond is a smug charmless berk who I do not want to be. Hopefully in December people will stop talking about Bond and it will be easy to ignore Craig's "Bond" again.

I was hoping that Craig would leave after two of three films so he would not be a big part of the series but his career is dead outside Bond (despite B.Broccoli calling him a great movie star  ) and Craig is being lavished with praise so he will keep ruining Bond films and pocketing the $20 million bond paycheques for many years to come.
Bring back Bond!

Adele wants no part of the 007 album. That says it all. She probably demanded that or it was no deal so Eon caved.

Also, bring Pierce back to the action realm. And Henry should stick with Superman and epic films, and any dark haired actors who have potential to be classic Bonds should stay away from the Bond franchise. What the franchise needs once DC retires (either after Skyfall or his 4th or 5th Bond) is to have freaks & weirdos to take over.
