$75 MILLION HERE FOR BOND 23? Consider sending in the weirdos if you ask me.
Jerry Mathers would do as The Beaver.

What kind of weirdo (or freak, whatever you prefer) should we be rooting for if worse comes to worst? Jerry Mathers doesn't come close as a weirdo. We need a great actor who is a total weirdo/freak.

Have you seen Jerry's face lately? George The Animal Steele and his hand puppet Mine would do nicely if Eon continues down this path of desecration. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XfJxAO_ ... re=related

Here's a good candidate to replace DC if the general public is subjected to insanity this upcoming holiday and awards season.

Humour is one of the characteristics that makes Bond such a likeable character, something that Craig lacks big time. It's said that Skyfall will have more humour, but I don't think it will be too much different from Casino Royale and Quantum Of Solace. The way Craig mumbles everything in his monotone voice, it's sometimes difficult to tell if he is trying to be humorous.

How many people did your favourite Bond kill? Though the article seems to include all deaths in a movie, including henchmen who are killed by the villain etc, not just people killed directly by Bond. (edit: on closer inspection, those are actually just Bond's kills, though the "most unusual death" column can include any death in the movie.

Some people always say how Craig's Bond is such a hardcore killer, when the others have done a fair share of killing themselves. People especially like to bash Roger Moore about not being violent enough. The Moore films are actually quite violent, but it's the humorous nature that tones it down, making it seem a little less violent for audiences. Just because Roger doesn't bash peoples skulls in, or rip their spines out like some crazy Mortal Kombat finisher, doesn't mean he isn't violent. It's not like he simply just goes around telling jokes, making the villains laugh themselves to death.

If you crunch the numbers, George is the least violent Bond, killing only 5 people in his one outing as Bond, the lowest per-film average of all the actors. Roger has the lowest kill count for a single movie, where in TMWTGG, he only killed Scaramanga. Pierce is actually the most violent Bond, with an average 33.8 kills per movie.

SNL ratings down with Craig.

Code: Select all

Seth Macfarlane 2.8 rating
Joseph Gordon-Levitt 3.0 rating
Daniel Wroughton Broccoli 2.2
Kids just dig that gritty Bond man  Once again Craig is not a player in the US market. UK he'd probably get a bigger draw.

Sadly he will :( , I resent creggs bond films with a fiery passion but most over here are still in the zomg it's that guy, best ever, flemings bond etc    , fbf the virus might not be worldwide but it's sadly spread over in the uk for the last 6 years and again he's utter crap, why do we as a country settle for so much d**n mediocrity today.

Anyone see red dwarf series 10?, after series 7, 8 and back to earth I thought they would never be able to redeem themselfs, went in with no expectations and I'm happy I was proven wrong, it smegging blew Me away, roll on this thursday and episode 2, the boys from the dwarf are back   :britflag: .

If the bond franchise continues on like this in the words of red dwarf series 6 maybe the series would be better dead than smeg (ie now) if it carries on, why isn't craig offended that he's only there for babs because she likes gawking at him, not because of his acting ability, I bet if Cubby was still alive today and he said what babs said recently about craig with his bond girls when he was alive he would've been given a hell of a lot of trouble, I'm expecting babs to slap creggs backside next, christ treat your actors with some soddin integrity, if I liked a women and I did that or was working in the industry I'd get bloody burned alive, so why the soddin double standard.

In a world that makes sense craig should be seriously concerned that he's working for a bunny boiler always keen to see him from every angle and wants him around forever, if I worked for a female boss and she treated Me like this I'd make a complaint.

Old bond: Classic that made bond an icon for 40 years and made cinema history.
New bond: trying to be bourne, run by a horny green vegetable, wants an oscar and would like to be featured next to leonardo devinci in some art gallery. :cuss: :007:  :fight:

Reminds me of a Rage virus from 28 series. Shaken....you're from the UK, correct?

You might as well send in the Blue Man Group as the next Bond.

Yep and again I really don't see the d**n appeal of Craig over here at all, the only cool blonde badass agent imo is jack bauer from 24, not bourne and certainly not bond.

I saw a news article saying that SF is likely to be the biggest-grossing movie of the year over here, even outgrossing TDKR and The Avengers. I'd post a link, but I'm not sure i could find it again now, and anyway, it's too depressing.

Daniel Craig is Rambo. He even has the same mouth as Rambo. :D

Brosnan's Bond had to machine gun people when escaping from a base in some of precredit sequences in his movies. That may explain his high kill rate.

Agreed, whatabout when Moores bond mercilesely pushed the villain from moonraker into the air hatch and sent him out into space to die, it's really sad that people need to see violence in the extreme graphic sense to suddenly say hey that is violence but the other isn't.

Creggs bond goes spartan on his enemies, he kills like a brute not a spy with a license to kill, bond had a technique in his killing that all the actors exc craig did well, Brosnan definetly had the biggest body count and when needed showed his merciful side, shooting electra at point blank range, throwing 006 off that satellite, killing another spy just because he was doing his job just like he was...but alot of those people in love with only the craig films put pierce off and call him effeminate, pansy etc and a real joke, did they even watch the same bond films as I did or is that a lot of beep I can smell coming out of some of their asses.

Again I don't hate anyone that likes craigs bond (My uncle's a fan), just the people who blindly say all the rest before suck, this is the true bond etc, the last 40 years were tripe etc, that's what really pisses Me off, saying the icon he was back then that got the series fully noticed is crap is a real mockery to bond along with Fleming since he'd never approve of craig.

Kristatos: Christ if that's true then the world's really gone bat (pardon pun) crazy, the avengers was brilliant and tdkr wasn't bad either, how and why in gods name should a mediocre film, made by someone who hates the character and fans get so much money....arrrgh :cuss:, the hobbit deserves to make big money, not james I'm a generic emo bourne thug wannabe with tons of layers i hate everyone waaah vesper, lady gaga poker face droopy bond.

Yeah, you can always tell the people like Sweeney (who can at least back up the assertion that Craig is Fleming's Bond with actual quotes from Fleming's novels, even if I don't always agree with his arguments) from the mindles parrots who simply repeat the assertion when it is clear they have never read any Fleming. In many cases, they can't even spell his name right. We are constantly told that someone called Flemming (sic) created a Call of Duty-style character[sup]1[/sup] who slits women's throats as they sleep[sup]2[/sup] and throws his friends' bodies into dumpsters.
