I thought there were studio troubles and then when they were resolved Eon decided to rush out another Daniel Craig one for the 50th Anniversary?

On a more serious note, and i think EON know it..........Bond 23 has to be a success.

If not we are all screwed.........and we might as all well go and watch 'Muppet movies in the future'.

I mean could there ever be a day when Bond films go straight to DVD?

10 years ago the answer was no never. In the future who knows,Hollywood is moving towards this for big movies any how but if it happens to Bond it will be because of the half owners Babs and MGW not wanting to play nice with the studio so now all movies are filmed on location at Babs house and sold from MGWs van.

Craig movies made money thanks in part to the lack of real competition, this year the big dawgs are out and they are hungry, will it make enough to save the series as it is run now, cause that is what I think it is down to saving the series as it is now or forcing it to be reinvented with new people running it.Someone will always want to make Bond movies,Craigs movies are not Bond aside form using the brand name.If Bond 23 fails to make money for the studio however that math works then I think we'll see Bond reinvented soon.If it is a critical failure but makes money I'm not sure what happens.

Says his name is Kincade I don't know about this M business. The other story you linked to said Craig was offered a 5 movie extension and we know that isn't true either.

Hey BJ! Get this
Turkish Tabloids Spread ‘Skyfall’ CIA Conspiracy Theory
April 8, 2012

At first when I would read, I thought that maybe sometimes British tabloid papers love creating stories, but no, the latest involves Skyfall, the newest Bond action-adventure film, where the second unit has moved to Adana to continue filming scenes.

According to the IHA News Agency, since the shooting is on location, it “is being used to transport arms for Syrian dissidents who are fighting Ashad soldiers.” Also that filming is taking place near an air base and since the railway has been shut down for several days for filming, some local papers are saying that Skyfall “is a cover up for arms transportation to Syria by the CIA.”

Why do they say that? Because 007 actor, Daniel Craig hasn’t been seen yet. They still don’t get that is the second unit.

I mean, this is always going to happen no matter how a film production tries to be secretive. I really don’t believe any of these fabricated stories. We’ll have to wait till a teaser trailer and an official trailer and the film to be released.
Sure the team who brought us CR and QOS, who hate openly the CIA and MI5 are going to help in Vietnam era weapons swap

  If Eon can swing a lot of money from the USA to do it, they would, no 'bout a doubt it'. Anything possible to defray Eon's costs would be utilized.

http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2012/04/10/sk ... set-visit/ Any words coming out of the "onionized ogre"'s mouth is pure spin and drivel. I now believe that Bardem's role is a 'created villain' by some evil done to him by actions of M and the UK government, ala Sean Bean in GE. Who needs complex villains with bleached blond hair? Berenice comes off as a doltish waste as well in this film. These people have NO clue who Bond is yet they ALL churn out their spin of this as a classic film. If Cr-egg truly wants to make the best possible Bond film he should quit and allow Cavill or Jackman to take over. If Eon continues on with this farce after this failure and Sony and MGM allow Cr-egg to remain, it's all over. I really believe Eon lowered the budget with Sony just to attempt to show a profit of some kind with the egghead in the role and justify to Sony he should stay on. After Bond, this horrendous joke will be forced to retire on Rachel's salary because he will not be receiving offers ever again. It irks me that this piece of trash Calibos is earning millions as a no talent actor because of a "moronic plant based horny green vegetable" heading Eon that adores him undressed. Her taste in humanity reeks with no class basis and thinking this cursing cowboy would be a great grunge ambassador for her inherited franchise is most distressing. Folks, in all honesty, I cannot take much more of this with Cr-egg. If he stays, I am done with this franchise. FBF, what say yee?

http://www.ifc.com/wp-content/uploads/2 ... poulou.jpg Ms. Sotiropouloulouloulouloulouloulouloulou etc., won't help Cr-egg's cause any either, making him look like a pedophile. Ale, what the hell is going on here with this morose plot, this casting, this directing, etc?

Nope. I have a gift card for a local movie theater which is like going to the movie theater for free. Even then, I wouldn't waste my money.

Send in actors who are total opposites of Bond to replace DC as Bond if EON is positive that Bond 23 will gross higher than its 2 predecessors as well as getting high award nominations, especially those in the US. BJ, you know who those actors are. No, it's not Fat Seagal.
