Probably right, I think since late 2011 Obama was using the white house to try and make political hay which is fairly new. Bill Clinton was a master politician but when it came time to be the people's president he was was right there not making politically charged comments or delaying projects he thinks his base wants him to.

I hope to god the supreme court rule the way eveyone thinks they will. Obama care is teh worst parts of the healthcare system, insurance, and the IRS rolled in to one.

I do not like how obama is moving towards a dictator's attitude. Will he recognize the law if the court decides against him, or will it be like the illegal moratorium in the gulf where he is ignoring the judges orders.

A lib friend of mine has a theory the admin lawyer was trying to screw up the argument before the supreme court on purpose. I don't know maybe I don't think the have a case we need reform but IMO obamacare doesn't reform much of what is wrong with our system it makes the bad parts worse.
I was saying mandate to make people buy insurance because theyare trying to say all those who don't buy we are paying for the eventually, or whatever. Its not true it the other way around forcing people who do not want insurance to buy is making them pay for other peoples health cost and / or putting profits in the insurance companies pocket. and when the government eventually takes over all healthcare care who the hell do you complain to when they wont approve the medication for your child. His other theory is Obama may of sent message to the liberal judges on the court if the furious 5 strike down the mandate for the lib justices to vote with them on nullifying the law. I guess the theory is it would rally peopel to Obama, I don't think it will too many feel the heavy boot on the government on our neck with this law for it to be mourned when it is gone.

Yes and no. I lean more libertarian of the repubs I liked Herman Cain the best. Romney I've looked in to more I think he will be good choice fore pres because he is too far right for the libs and too far left for the right makes him just about right for all of America.
Santorum I respect but he comes off as the angry guy inthe room on just about every subject. ANd Romney giving away the topic of Obamacare is crazy its up in the air until the Supreme Court rules. Once the verdict is in ROmney will run as the guy to undo obamacare legally or as the guy with the experience to create a new health care reform system. If it is a redo of the reform we cant trust obama with it we've seen how the dems in the house and senate will do things

Obama is getting scarier as he gets closer to his date with reelection if he were a republican he would be looked at more closely his views on civil liberties is frightening he is doing stuff that Bush would be scared of doing. He wields a heavy hand in America, but our enemies he is very gentile and considerate of. I'm also worried he is going to botch the Iranian nuke situation. Rolling over for the russians isn't a big seller with me either.

I knew about the provisional shortly after the bill was passed its partly why I think obamacare combines some the worst aspects of the IRS which is damned scary when it is your healthcare involved. Hospitals/Doctors never get the bills right and the always pad the bill or add other odd stuff and now the government might just take the money from me just because they can.

The way to fix healthcare is to first fix the liabilities laws, ending frivolous lawsuits filed in states friendly to the suers (?)

Fix the insurance system get rid of all the extra paper works and regulations, some of the government and state added, open the insurance so it is universal state to state. Move a few hundred miles and we'll need different insurance company even if it is the same insurance, Blue Cross N Carolina, Blue Cross Georgia, why not just have blue cross America good in all US states and territories. Its bad where if you are close to the boarder and can have insurance for either state because of you employers some doctors really hate people coming in with the wrong states insurance. This crap needs to go.

Fix the bureaucracy at hospitals and Doctors offices a lot of wasted money there.

And put something better in its place? Nah, it's just be back to what went before - Scroogecare ("if the poor are going to die, then let them do it soon and decrease the surplus population"). How ironic that the choices are between a Republican solution to America's healthcare woes (advocated by a Democrat), and no solution at all (advocated by the Republican who came up with the Republican solution).

Not true. 1) Interstate competition, which is currently not legal in the USA but it is legal for car insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, etc. 2) Cap lawyer fees at a set amount in malpractice cases, not 1/3, for just pushing papers and preying on tragedies for a lotto payoff. 3) cap pain and suffering at a set amount, not unlimited. 4) limit the yearly premium increases allowed to no higher than the cost of living that particular year. These are just a few of the things being discussed which would lower the premiums but which Oh-bama refuses to address. Bottom line, medicaid already exists for the poor and disabled. Medicaire already exists for the seniors. The hard working current tax paying public can either get health insurance, which most do, (and the 30 million being discussed is probably overstated without coverage as are the number of illegals here being understated), or they can risk financial problems going uninsured. It's their choice. Force the illegals out by the droves and the emergency room fees will drop dramatically for unpaid services.

Obama care originates with Romneycare but\ the dems in the senate loaded it with a so much crap it became a new federal animal. 2700 pages of all kinds of federal infringements when Romneycare is under 500 probably with some nice state level Taxachusetts stuff. Obama to his everlasting shame didn't craft the bill he let the dems go wild and do whatever they wanted and they started by copying off another students paper. The idea of what the dems were pushing through was becoming less and less popular by the day and they had to rush it across the finish line using all kinds of tricks to do it and nobody not on cushy government platinum healthcare system is ok with it. They thought once it was singed it was done deal and nobody could ever undo it (for sue as long as Obama was in power)and eventually people would just go along with it. Some good parts to Obamas bill but not enough to keep it.

Maybe you're right and some will never get over Romney-Obamacare roots I think once the court rules its all moot. We go from where we are at that moment. SOme of the right wing guys are bludgeoning Romney with it because it isn't cool to use his religion to remind good christians they should hate him.

what I'd like the house and senate to do is if/when Obamacare is unconstitutional pass a bill for the benefits already enacted then start putting together a replacement bill for 2013. BUt it like the budget nobody will actually do anything to make a real difference until its the 11th hour.

Military contractors are held responsible for the parts they supply no matter where ever they originate and there are QC points all along the way. Unless someone in our government purposely turned a blind eye it should be caught as the shipments came in. IMO this sounds like sabotaged parts built to pass bench tests only to fail in realworld use.

Getting parts form the Chinese for the US military was something argued about when Clinton started buying boots + berets for the army from them.

The malpractice in the news agencies is disturbing it is a good story without making facts up. The news agencies (I don't know what else to call them) need to clean house to many people with agendas on staff. I never watch the nightly half hours news shows any more because are more current affair magazines shows geared toward populism not news. It got bad after 9/11 during the build up to the war in Iraq.

I don't know why ZImmerman was not arrested and prosecuted maybe plead out to something minor if the evidence was there for it. The stand your ground laws are meant for home owners not wanna be cops. It used to be some local prosecutors would try to convict people for defending their homes, so laws were passed to make it harder for overzealous prosecutors to abuse the law now those laws are being abused to not charge a guy with killing a boy.
I would like to hear from the girlfriedn on the phone with him when he was shot if she can collaborate any zimmermans story of it then I might take better view of it. I don't like he started the incident by following the boy
