Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End

Did anyone here see it?
Did you think it was good?

IMO it -the story- was completely lost -just like they were trying for ;)

I've seen it twice and it makes less sense than before.
Make them serious nudes!

Not seen it yet. I enjoyed the first one, but the second one was a let down. I guess the third one will disappoint again.

if I had been online this weekend, I could have prophesied the poor performance of Pirates 3 early as Saturday.
My first clue was the shows were not sold out as they were for Spidy 3 and Pirates 2

2. Saturday night with a platoon of kids in tow the theater was only half full. (or half empty depending how you look at it ) :)

P3 was too long with a confused story that makes no sense. We would go to it again but I don’t think I could sit through it again, 3 hrs! I couldn’t feel my legs, of course the kid could feel their legs because they were doing somersaults long before the 2nd hour began.
Good special effects, amazing at times. But not enough to make it worth while.

I think we'll give P3 a miss when it comes out on DVD and stick to the 1st Pirates movie. Curse of the black pearl will be a classic for generations to come. P2 & P3 will be forced to walk the plank!

The 5th biggest opening weekend of all time is poor performance?

After all the Pirate fans have been raving about how it would blow Spidy 3 out of the water, in comparison, yes. Otherwise it is quite good, but underperforming as far as the second film and Spidy 3 are concerned.

I suppose this is the answer to how many people were dissapointed in the second.

precisely, the talk was P3 would walk away with the records. It Didn't because it didn't deserve to IMO.

I do think there is a factor of disappointment with the previous movie which hurt the sequel.

Haven't seen it. Heard that the plot makes no sense at all.
The first one was very good. But in the second, Jack Sparrow became a cartoon character. No tension, just some funny TV-type bits.

The first one was rather good fun. Three is too excessive.

I haven't had time to see this one yet. I didn't care much for part 2, loved part one, but this one is 3 hours long, so it's gonna have to be on a day off, which I haven't had in a couple of weeks.
