Santorum looks like an immature kid in junior high school. He should just go away already, with Newt and Paul. Paul has lost 22 straight contests :!: :idea: Duh? In 2008, "the last two democratic primaries reflected the party’s continuing divisions, as Mrs. Clinton won the South Dakota contest and Mr. Obama won Montana." He did not clinch the nomination until JUNE :!: Hillary and Oh-bama hated each other, yet they united once the primaries were over. These liberal Oh-bamaites in the news media are so far up his rear it's not funny. 8 months to go to see if the USA will survive. Mitt Romney has won 13 states, and he has 415 delegates;
Rick Santorum has won 7 states, and he has 176 delegates;
Newt Gingrich has won 2 states, and he has 105 delegates; and
Ron Paul has won 0 states, and he has 47 delegates.
The latest Gallup Tracking poll for the Republican nomination shows Romney at 38%, Santorum at 22%, Newt Gingrich at 15%, and Ron Paul at 12%

Santorum sounds kinda nuts, but he is polling well enough to justify his staying in the race. The other two should take the hint and drop out, but Gingrich has a huge ego and, more importantly, more money than Goldfinger thanks to his SuperPAC. Paul is bolstered by his cult of glassy-eyed acolytes who just know that he would be elected if only the American people would just wake up and see the truth about fiat currency and the Federal Reserve and the gold standard and all the other stuff that nobody except them gives a s**t about.

Real Clear Politics says that Romney may still not reach the magic number of 1144 delegates by June :shock:

Prosecuted for what, exactly? What Rush said was reprehensible, but what laws has he broken?

Let her sue Maher instead for his comments on Palin and Bachman.

I though it was a joke but she is serious. Holy cow! The beginning of the thought police I guess.

To answer my own question, apparently it is some obscure Florida law from about 100 years ago that is never enforced any more. The name Gloria Allred rings a bell, but I don't really know who she is. The consensus, even on Democratic forums such as this one, seems to be that she is as big an attention whore as Rush and should just go away.

She is infamous as a ambulance chasing womens activist. She lampooned herself in the movie Rat Race but normally when she joins in a fight you know it's gone too far. I think of her as a female Johnny Cochran but she is more politically motivated

So it's one of those "cussing in public" "spitting on the sidewalk" kind of laws that made sense to someones granny in 1888 :roll:

Obama is one of the most cynical politicians we've had in long time.
The pipeline he outright lied then tired to say about 2 to 3 major it is not me it the other guys and that was this week alone.

The young boy Martin killed in Florida Obama takes time to take answer what looks like planted question, to me it looked like Obama was trying to use a tragedy to boost his campaign. In fact most of what Obama has done recently is dictated by his re-election.

Everything he does is rehearsed. He controls the media. That is socialism. All Msnbc and Letterman, Maher, Leno, etc. do is make fun of the Republicans while giving this crumb a free ride with bad results. Housing starts dropped by 1.6% in March. Did you hear about this on the media? He already knows the questions being posed BEFORE the reporters ask them. The Republicans get blindsided daily.

Recently? It's the era of the permanent campaign, dude. Everything he's done since January 2009 has been dictated by his reelection.

Correct. Campaigning is a daily event, 24/7, 365 days for Oh-bama.

Not just for him, for everyone seeking to enter the White House. Bush did it when he was President, and whoever takes over from Obama, whether this year or in 2016, will also do it. There's no going back to the days before the Internet and 24-hour rolling news.
