What perplexes me about it is this: WHY on earth would you do something that not only doesn't respond to the character's style at all, BUT ALSO makes the actor look WAY WORSE!? WHY?! What the hell goes on in those minds, I do NOT get it.

Agree and it's mind boggling that these 3 morons are running the entire artistic side of the show and they truly believe DC looks great looking like a porcupine with diarrhea running into a bank. I cannot figure it out. Someone should ask Mendes about this.

One of the Crinan area old salts was told to get into a boat which had small holes drilled to allow him to look directly forward and then steer the craft around Loch Crinan at high speed. Meanwhile the various superstars such as Daniel Craig (Bond) looked frantically busy at helms which were not connected to anything."

Eon made radical changes to Bond with Casino Royale. Many critics and fans loved it which means Eon think they can do what they want with Bond which means about 12 bizarre "Bond" films starring an increasingly strange looking Daniel Craig.

If the awful Casino Royale had flopped we would have Bond back now.

As for bond 23 they should change it to , bond: the name's pension ......give me a pension, watch bond as he takes on evil on his senior citizen mopehead, battles the evils of the daily budget after running out of bread, taken back out of retirement after once starting a fight with a giant monkey later described to be himself looking in the mirror, bond was thrown in m16 rehab for double oo looneys, as soon as bond said charles manson is my best friend he was cured and allowed to run about freely in society again (or in that field with that gate around it in the farm), now familiar with nature again bond made his own treehouse, m wanted to go up but bond doesn't trust anyone anymore with a sign on his treehouse saying no ms or super secret agents this means you.

Later when bond is rehired m leaves because she forgot to turn the turkey off in the oven she put in her house on xmas, knowing the shame m shares for overcooking her turkey she leaves, a new m comes in who now has the responsibility of giving bond a gold star if he does well or a i'm a dunce sit in a corner if he messes up, due to cutbacks from new m bond must battle the daily trials of sticking to a budget so he later goes to bogner regis to hunt down what is believed to be an evil villain only by the name of my name is tom I steal lots of pennies and ride pandas, knowing this has bugger all to do with anything bond goes to check it out, when in town bond goes into poundland and the secret villain shows himself and his lair, turns out all that money was saved for a weapon of mass destruction who had been granted access to the uk....justin bieber (dramatic music plays), can bond defeat something worse than himself or will the sky really fall and truly leave him shaken not stirred.

There are times I hate being a journalist and being subscribed to all the news wires. I took me a good five minutes to realize that AP flash about Whitney Houston being dead was not a joke. (clearly, it being AP.). So incredibly sad. ANd although the circumstances are not clear as of not, I'm very afraid this has got to be related to her substance abuse problem... so tragic how people with so much talent never feel like they're good enough and always think they can't keep up with it. Beyond bad.

She was found in a bath tub and suspected drowned as was reported on the cable news shows. Was it cardiac or drug related? They might know by tomorrow. I watched Elvis's death with shock and horror on tv in 1977 as well, being a huge Elvis fan, and both were heavily wasted by drug abuse. Tragic, but not surprising.

The only "Oscar" buzz Bond 23 can be related to is "Oscar" Madison, the slob of Neil Simon's fantasy (who I sat at the next table to in Manhattan 2 years ago in a restaurant). Other than that, no need for Carrot Top because this trash is not receiving ANY nominations at all EXCEPT a Razzie

I knew Whiney had issues with drugs..but I was honestly very surprised to hear she died.



My parents and I went to see Hugo -it was really good.We saw it in 3D which was even better(and I'm usually neither here nor there about 3d!)

LOL sadly I think you summed it up perfectly. They don't have the faintest idea how the character should look, let alone how he should behave. But the skinhead cut is seriously a bit much even for them. I mean it's not nuclear science, you know how Bond is supposed to look from the books AND from all the freaking previous films. But from the moment they cast Craig as Bond, I should have known that there were no bounds frankly. I know you like Craig as Bond so I think it's more of a shock to you... thinking about it, I should have expected this from the start instead. When they show they don't know how the actor should look, then pretty much anything is up for disgraceful change. Still this really is a bit much. Especially because he looks AWFUL with that cut. Not just as Bond, but in general. WTF?

Sadly it is not surprising because of her so many problems related to drug abuse... but I didn't expect it to happen now for some reason. I would not have been surprised had it happened a few years ago when she was completely wasted, but it seemed like she was trying to keep it together lately (though photos of her from the other night really don't show her in her best shape. She doesn't look wasted but she really looks like a far cry from the beautiful woman she was when she was doing well). The little info that there is so far doesn't make me hope for anything good. Police said there were no immediate signs for reason of death which means she didn't hit her head or anything in the bathtub so I'm afraid it's most likely drug related (if it's a heart attack it's still mainly due to her substance abuse). I just find it incredibly sad how people of so much talent like her, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Amy Winehouse, end up being incredibly weak human beings AND end up dying in such horrifyingly lonely circumstances.
