If he ever does, I hope he will be banned here as he is on every other moderated forum he has joined. I believe bans should be used sparingly, but the person we're both thinking of (I'm assuming it's the same guy) poisons every forum he is on.The Sweeney wrote:Well luckily he hasn't cropped up on here.....yet!Kristatos wrote:Uh-oh, that sounds familiar. The Sweeney wrote: banned members like bondfan, who deluded himself by thinking he was better looking than Brosnan, and should be playing Bond instead of Craig.

Sweeney. you just complemented this 'notorious' website's forum and debased the MI6 forum. I consider that a victory for this forum, and thank you, and I agree that this forum does have intelligent and mostly cordial debate. It seems MI6 has attracted several 'unusual' members and constructive 'contrary' discussion has gone out the window. When Doggie returns, and gets her promotion from Luds, watch the so-called flame wars burn like Rome as Nero fiddled! Sweeney, you are always welcome here, and I think you are one heck of an intelligent and likeable person and I truly enjoy reading your posts! The Sweeney wrote:Unfortunately, contrary views on there over the past few months have come from the likes of craigisntbond, who writes and sounds like a 6 year old, Thrice, who one minute slags Craig off, then does a complete U turn and says Craig is brilliant, and then slags him off again, Vine, who just ridicules everything people say, and banned members like bondfan, who deluded himself by thinking he was better looking than Brosnan, and should be playing Bond instead of Craig.bjmdds wrote: The reason you ask, is that contrary views there annoy the overwhelming majority and they enjoy, it seems, driving dissenting opinion away, it is as simple as that.
There are many on here who do not like Craig whom I consider intelligent, and have something productive and constructive to say. Unfortunately these types of people do not reside on MI6. No wonder the tolerance level is quite low on there at the moment.

I think he tried to return to the MI6 forum several times with different sign on avatars and had his ISP address checked and each time he was banned. He PM'd me a few times during my tenure at MI6 and he was passionate about Craig's faults, I can tell you that.James wrote:Bondfan is the lunatic who spams the f**k out of the James Bond newsgroup right?

The members The Sweeney mentioned were all members that you said would make a welcome addition to this site.bjmdds wrote:Sweeney. you just complemented this 'notorious' website's forum and debased the MI6 forum. As for being welcome here, well it's mostly an alright forum. At least I get to say my piece. Though Mi6 allows me to do that, and to debate Bond in general, which I can do here, though this site is more focused on one film and one actor it would seem. Just one question bj. Who put you in charge?
Are you hoping to be a mod some day?

I for one, welcome your insights, although at times you do get testy. You know your material, and are entitled to your own opinions. That is what a true forum should do, welcome ALL opinions, without being made to feel not welcome. That is not the case on the other forum sites in discussion here.Captain Nash wrote:There's alot of love here.

Even though my opinion or views are not shared by many here, it is a fun place to visit, and you do tolerate me. God knows how.

I just cannot help it Sweeney, Craig just rubs me the wrong way as Bond, as DAD does for you as a Bond film. The Sweeney wrote:Awwww....shucks!bjmdds wrote: Sweeney, you are always welcome here, and I think you are one heck of an intelligent and likeable person and I truly enjoy reading your posts!![]()
Thanks for the compliment bj, and my feelings towards you are likewise (despite your views on DC).
