Spiderman never needed a reboot, hell before that term was common place movie companies used to do a little thing called getting better writers, why does that suddenly have to be thrown out the window now?, ok exc batman films when schumacher took over nothing else needed a reboot at all especially bond, changing him after 40 years just so a stupid female exec can get her jollies off seeing her pet walk around with little to nothing on...this is not what bond is, it's like eons literlally gone the adam west route with bond now.

As for derpfail some people (like Daltons bond) won't be too happy to see cregg around for another one not after so long, Dalton left at the right time because they needed Brosnan to reinvigorate the franchise and it wouldn't have worked without him, it's time for cregg to step down, admit he's a terrible bond (and he will someday) and sony find a real bond and go back to the original and only one true timeline, forget the last half of die another day with the invisible car and ice palace happened and there you go, no pointless unecessary reboot, just better writing ie after bonds torture, he was also given some strange drugs during his torture that caused bond to lose his mind so m sent bond into hospital till they could get it all out of his system, bond wakes up from his nightmare, gets back into shape, swears he won't slip up like that again and goes onto his next mission, why was that so hard for eon to do??, bond always changed slightly from actor to actor but kept most things from his character but he never had to be rebooted, I just hope those idiots at eon realise this new timeline will get them nowhere, it wasn't needed, all they really needed was one prequel to all of this with a great leading man to show how bond become bond, then back to the present.

The hobbit next year will definetly make the skyfall for this bond and gandolf definetly won't let that fail of a bond pass  .

Wow cregg looks about as classy as a peanut in those pics  , he's looking more like the dad from steptoe and son more I look at those pics, if only SIr David Attenbrugh did some narration for piefall, and here we have......a small stubby man who resembles a turnip...I mean james bond, note as he walks through the crowds with all the charisma of someone who's just been slapped in the face with a wet fish...lost is our bond that he resorts to shouting...failing this his face chances colour to red and he starts to kick things and when the male is finished he walks off and pouts...usually this is a very big cycle and we happened to catch him at the right time..see how he displays signs of supposed semi intelligence (bond picks off flea from his head and eats it)...magnificent...now we must be very quiet or the bondus hideous will attack us and run through walls and go on a rampage similar to king kong....now we see another strange species called babbrraccuus as she looks at the male with self obsessed stalker admiration, watch as she makes him wear what she wants only for our male (who's not very bright) to not realise that's he's one step off a bunny boiler.

Spiderman I am not crazy about the reboot but these is lot of spidy stoy they did not tell jumping too fast to Venom like the Batman and Bane fight. I think i got a feel form the trailers and I am not sure I care for it.

I thought the same when it first came out, though the awfulness of QOS has caused me to view it in a slightly more favourable light. I hope Spyfail doesn't have us all saying "you know, QOS doesn't seem that bad after all".
Good Lord, let's hope not! That would mean the franchise is dead and we can't afford that, not before seeing an actor who actually looks and behaves like James Bond in the role again. Glad you shared my reaction on CR... I really think it was WAY overrated. Of course anything looks not so bad compared to the horrible QoS  so CR gains in the comparison.
Better than the worst movie in 50 years of movies is not a high compliment. CR dragged on after the first 14 minutes, the rifftrax version was fun but the movie itself is not one I want to watch again, and I can't believe this is the same guy I first saw in Living Daylight or Goldeneye.

Bootlegging is getting fast now, I doubt Spyfail will make it 2 weeks without a bootleg appearing online. QOS actually had a long run before the first bootleg appeared but then it was getting such a bad rep maybe they figured why bother.
Oh no it's just a matter of knowing where to look... QoS WAS out quick, but nobody bothered with it! Normally now within 2-3 days of theatrical release, the bootleg is out there. Especially for action movies. I don't think Skyfall will be an exception.

And, agree completely on CR.

Bond is already dead. In fact, it's much worse than that. I have said this before, and I will say it again. This is what describes the Bond franchise today:

Image

Let me you ask you this. What do you do with a zombie? Contain him and hope there's a cure? The answer is no. That is someone who way beyond gone to be saved and someone whose purpose is spread the infection throughout the population. And what about the infected in 28 Days Later? Contain him so we can find a cure for him? No, you kill him. Otherwise, there will be a widespread epidemic. The goal of the corrupted Bond franchise, which contains a DC virus, is to corrupt the minds of general public (especially the younger generation) into liking DC's Bond and giving their money to see a DC Bond movie. Now that's a pandemic. Let's face it. Better for Skyfall to CRASH and BURN than to have it gross more than both QOS and CR, especially here in the US, or worse, getting even a single Oscar nomination in the technical category. BJ, are we in agreement on this?

DC recent interview: Off limits are questions regarding his new Bond movie, Skyfall, and his recent marriage to actor Rachel Weisz.
Q: What’s the key to taking on an iconic role?

A: The less you think about what other people think in this industry, the better, and the more original you can be.

Q: Was that your approach with Blomkvist and Bond?

A: You can’t go into a project thinking, “Oh, how would these people like it?” You must get on with what you want, and be single-minded about it.
Single minded is what we got, from his poorly functioning, non-artistic, axons and dendrites in his grey matter. This guy is like Oh-bama to a tee. BOTH revel in their own self delusions of grandeur. Both can be eliminated from our collective consciences the same week next November 2012 :!: YES---WE---CAN :!:

That's not point I was making. What I said in my previous post. I'm talking about the Bond franchise being infected by a virus. Like you said, the franchise is not worth saving just like zombie. What do zombies and corrupted Bond franchise have in common? Their purpose is to cause a worldwide pandemic. If you still don't get it, then I'm sure shaken not stirred will explain it better for you.

Better for the franchise to meet the same fate as Raccoon City.

Maybe.
I don't think it hit the big torrents until the movie hit the US, Russia, and maybe some of the other EU Countries. I can't remember if you were here in 2008. I'm so used to your being here I can't imagine you were not. :D

I thought the UK release date was a mistake because it was a week or 2 ahead of the US, I do not remember any real torrents (meaning a torrent not put out by the studios to trap people) until it hit Qos rest of the world but by then there was also bad word of mouth. Honestly I don't think downloads hurt movies as much as Bad word of mouth.

Price has more to do with people not taking chance on a movie I'll hit a movie for a matinee ticket price but not for a night time ticket price. And if there is any doubt about a movie it a $1 rental.

Good thing Bond 23 wasn't mentioned in that article I just posted. The less said about Bond 23, the better. And the less said about Bond, the slower the DC virus infects the general public.

True. And like you said, the franchise is not worth saving. There's no point of worrying about its well-being. The best thing to do is pick up the weapon and shoot the d**n thing in the head.
