Sorry BJ it's a busy time as usual here.. UGH. Anyway Re: Golden Globes. I think they had to put her in now because they won't be able to next year, seen as the movie has been released THIS year. And obviously they've seen the movie already so they can judge. I do not think the movie will fail BUT the point about it, IMO is that just like Tin Tin wasn't a Craig movie at all, this isn't a Craig movie at all either. SHE is the protagonist. SHE is the one being praised everywhere for the portrayal. And while I'm not into that genre at all, I don't have a problem with it of course, if she's good then she deserves the praise, whether Craig is in the movie or not. He isn't the protagonist regardless, so this changes absolutely nothing for him. IF the movie does well it will be on the girl, and if it does badly it will be on her, not on Craig. That's how I see it.
She's NEVER going to win anyway... the people from The Help are going to rake in awards. That movie is by far the best movie I saw this year (I'm not talking action movies). It truly is a great movie, and they managed to put together a far from obvious cast that did an incredible job. Both the two black actresses AND Emma Stone deserve nods. Basically anyone who could get a nom in that movie did so far. And it better win Academy Awards as well.
In other news, I am MAJORLY thrilled to announce that the two shows I keep bugging you guys with BOTH got major award nods. SUITS (where they very often make Bond references, and this dude had a "Sean Connery swag" line even!) had one of its two leading men, Patrick J Adams, nominated at the SAG awards for Best Leading Actor in a TV Series, and Necessary Roughness (definitely my favorite show last summer, on USA Network) had its protagonist Callie Thorne get a Golden Globe nomination as best actress (lead) in a series. I am MAJORLY proud because THESE are the products that should be rewarded.. USA Network produces BY FAR the best TV shows there are out there (minus obviously the big JJ Abrams productions, including Person of Interest). What's best about them is that they're NEVER gratuitous in either vulgarity or violence, but they DO have an edge and they handle sexy the way it should be handled, without making it vulgar. Also, they have terrific writers and they ALWAYS pick the best cast. Both Suits and Necessary Roughness are majorly good shows, with fabulous writers/producers and a terrific cast. Very entertaining to watch and always interesting. So I am REALLY proud of both these nods. Some idiotic TV bloggers were all "oh unreal that Patrick J Adams got a nom". Well, they can just go keep company to the Craigster as far as I'm concerned

He and Gabriel Macht both do a fantastic job on Suits, and this was definitely a well-deserved and FINALLY majorly unexpected nom.
In other news, Person of Interest last night had record ratings again. Ah, it feels so good when quality stuff I like gets recognition and does well! The episode (mid-season finale) was AWESOME, this show gets better each passing week. You should all watch it, you'll like it!
