We've been told that production is flying as fast as the Big Blue himself with shooting to wrap early February, and scenes already being edited and sent out to various post-production houses as I type this. Jeff Robinov, who currently wears the crown as “King of the WB,” has long thought the Last Son of Krypton could succeed while the film climate is about running into multiplexes for the heat instead of the AC and, if you’ll remember originally slated Henry Cavill’s freshman foray into fighting for truth, justice and the American way for December 2012 while the entire Hobbit production was up in the air before Jackson stepped in to save it.
If the above angle comes into play that would push The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey to December of 2013 and The Hobbit: There & Back Again to December 2014. In that case, WB gets their Superman epic out before the 2013 deadline where they’d have to pay up extra dough to the Siegel/Shuster estates (and for once, beat Marvel to the punch with putting a big superhero blockbuster out for the Holiday season instead of the standard operating procedure of summer with their November 2013 release of Thor 2) and Jackson gets an extra year to do his magic in Middle Earth again. It'd also be a great WB/DC one-two punch along with The Dark Knight Rises to help fans get the bad taste of Green Lantern out of their mouths quicker.

Remember, this is just one website's unconfirmed rumor. As far as we know, "Man of Steel" is still slated for a June 14, 2013 release until we hear otherwise from Warner Bros.
UPDATE: A Warner Bros. spokesperson has now officially debunked this rumor:

"Contrary to inaccurate reports - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is being released on December 14, 2012" - Dan Fellman, President, Domestic Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures.

LMAO!! BJ have mercy, I'm laughing like one crazy lunatic alone in front of the computer! OMG this was too good

LOL BJ Crowe was smoking in between takes! And Jor El has had a beard before.. even Clark Kent has a beard at some point in the film! I have read about the rumors and I think it would be a wiser strategy for them to release it in 2012 (also, great thing for us, because by the 1st week of December when they would release it, so less then a month after the Craigster's latest assassination of the James Bond character, we would be guaranteed the disappearance of Craig and EON from all US movie talk...) I hope it goes this way, but for now no confirmation of it.

RE: comments. Some of those people are out of their freaking minds. Thunderpussy I KNEW some on AJB would say he looks GOOD that's why I couldn't stomach reading the comments!

I saw this. The Hobbit is supposedly taking more time to make and Superman started early so maybe although I saw somewhere they were WB said it was not moving the Hobbit. The must have a ton of confidence in Superman they are already working on the sequel.

What's the point being a Bond fan. If we're still a Bond fan, then that would meant the first 20 Bonds.
Precisely. I'm still a fan of the *real* Bond films.

Same here, I'm a fan of the REAL Bond films. Those ended when Pierce stopped being Bond. All that was done up until that point was definitely James Bond. What came after isn't.

What came after 2002 is a now 9 year perpetual commercial for Colace http://www.addictedtosaving.com/wp-cont ... colace.jpg, once in 2006, then in 2008, and soon to be in 2012. Ten years of this junk culminating with a constipated Bond on a hot tin roof with a field agent named Eve whose hair looks like the Bride Of Frankenstein's http://www.wearysloth.com/Gallery/ActorsL/9780-2453.gif :!:

I can't understand eon's obsession with The behind the scenes Politics, Dirty deals with villians etc. It Never happened in the novels so is as Far away from Fleming as you can get.
Fleming always gave you a great adventure with colourful villians and locations, a Glimpse into another world for most of us.Mixing many elements together.
Even SiFi but keeping it all believable. For realistic Espionage novels there is always L Deighton or J le Carre, which give the grim reality and druggery of real
spy work.
That's why I got in to Bond as it was a Mix of escapisim/adventure, I've enough reality in my real life . I go to the cinema to be entertained not lectured.

The cruciferous "floret" http://i.ehow.com/images/a08/6q/kb/broc ... 00x800.jpg (Broccoli, a green vegetable native to Italy, consists of three basic parts: the stalk, the stem, and the floret) of Eon is a political feminist, who wants to make governments look bad, and men look inadequate.

There is only one solution to end this madness: http://www.mediterrasian.com/graphics/r ... _chop1.jpg You have to cut off the floret of Eon from the stalk and start over.

Actually, Craig has made me appreciate some of the sillier Bond films even more. I felt that some of the '70s and '80s films veered too far into self-parody, but after watching the self-important Craig films, I realise that there are worse sins than a bit of silliness.

The first official Eon trailer is now out for the opening scene in Bond 23. Just like CR, it opens inside a toilet and Danielle is in RARE form performing the title song at the same time as he is acting. A real testament to Cr-egg's acting and singing skills: http://www.careerbuilder.com/monk-e-mai ... 41416238.2

Its good to see some new posters here.

Reading 'BJ's' and 'Ale's' posts....its clear to me that they now see Babs as some sort of Medusa character.

A piece of advice when you go into EON's offices with a sword..........remember not to stare in Babs eyes, or you will turn into a stone statue of DC. :)

How many statues of Craig does she need? She must have two to three life size statutes used for promoting the movies as lawn jockies by now. :D It is the problem with being a female producers who makes inappropriate comments, people can rightly (or wrongly) assume she has an unhealthy attachment to her employee. I do think Craig was hired for a reason although they might of lost the reason for his hiring long before Casio Royale was in the theaters. No plan for the second & third movies and gritty revivalism was a short lived fad in the public's mind. Fantastic escapism is winning the day once again.
