It could be, but like I said, that's just pure speculation. It *could* be that the whole press conference is misdirection and that James Bond will actually be played by Carrot Top in Skyfall, but there's no real reason to suppose that this is the case. The Moneypenny thing is being reported as fact in some quarters, based on no actual evidence that I know of.
All of the other rumors from casting, title and location have turned out to be accurate. It is hard to dismiss the Moneypenny rumor because they said her name is Eve, the way the James Bond franchise's is handled today I don't have the confidence I had the for 40 of those 50 years. Casino Royale was a masterstroke to a degree, casting Daniel Craig was a good move if only of the change up in the monotony. The tragic flaw is they had no idea and no story to tell beyond Casino. No reason Q and Moneypenny should not be in Casino other than it was a turn the franchise on it's head moment (not that the franchise need it). Seven years later I am not so sure this movie will not be the last if they do some of the things I think they want to do with "Skyfall".

Naomie Harris is not a very good choice for Bond girl which why I tend to believe the rumor and she was dress like secretary not a seductive femme fatale.

No they haven't. Simon Russell Beale and Anthony Hopkins aren't in the film as far as anyone is aware, and Noel Gallagher has said that he isn't doing the theme tune, to take three rumours from off the top of my head. Some Chinese actress was also said to be a Bond girl, and she hasn't been announced either, but as the movie is partly set in China, it's possible she could still turn up in a minor role.

It was rumored FBF would be in The Sky Is Falling as a ruthless enemy to M but that fell through unfortunately.

Ale, I saw two commercials tonight for The Girl With The Dragon-Faced Boyfriend. It is rated R. There is NO WAY that this will top Cavill's R rated Immortals in the USA at the box office. NO WAY. How do you release an R rated film December 21, 4 days before Christmas and the New Year right after? Cr-egg will go down blazing and Cruise will cruise to a first place box office opening with MI4, which I plan on seeing opening weekend, weather permitting here. Between Dragon-Faced Boyfriend and Tin Tin, DC will bury his pathetic box office resume even deeper into oblivion. Compare Cavill's R to Danielle's R and let's see what we get :!: So far, Immortals, an R rated film: Domestic: $70,043,247 43.5%
+ Foreign: $91,000,000 56.5%
= Worldwide: $161,043,247

James Bond really can't stand those Kardashians.

Daniel Craig, the steely-eyed actor behind the most recent incarnation of the tuxedoed super agent, has a few choice words for the reality family in the January issue of GQ.

"Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions," he said. "I don't think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them.

PHOTOS: HE SAID WHAT? THE WORST CELEBRITY FEUDS

"You see that and you think 'what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f--king idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions?'

"I'm not judging it," he continued. "Well, I am obviously."

Craig, 43, pointed to the Kardashians as an example of how celebrities' public and personal lives can become dangerously intertwined.

"It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for," he said. "But if you sell it off it's gone."

The "Casino Royale" actor is definitely a stickler for his own words - he and actress Rachel Weisz, 41, wed in a secret ceremony this past June, a fact that he uses to make further digs against Kim's 72-day marriage.

"We got away with it," he said of the summer nuptials. "We did it privately and we've got a lot of people to thank for that.

"You can't buy it back - you can't buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F--k you," he continued. "We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?"

I was reading earlier that Immortals is still in the top movies in the US. I'm absolutely certain that Tom Cruise and Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol will EASILY win 1st spot at box office... and given the dates I'm also quite sure The Girl with the Old as Grandpa Boyfriend (LOL) may be up for a disappointing result. I don't wish failure upon anyone, let it be clear, not even Craig, but this is just something that may easily happen. And of course I don't want his movie to top Henry's at the box office... though again, given how well Immortals did (WELL exceeding expectations) I really don't think they're going to be able to have the same type of result. Not to mention, given it's already $161 mln worldwide, Immortals will easily make the studio book a profit once all is said and done.

I thought MI3 was possibly the best MI movie, and not coincidentally it had my favorite JJ Abrams at the helm. Now again for this one... there's no way they fail to get top spot. Sigh, in my dreams one day I WILL have JJ directing Bond, Henry as Bond and Orci, Kurtzman, Eastin and Korsch (latest add-in, Suits creator) writing it. I don't understand WHY we can't get this, this is how it's supposed to be. TOP NAMES to direct and write and the best possible actor fitting the role. Makes me so mad when I think about it :cuss:

Bayonet Sconder, glad to see you again! I can't say Craig is classy in what he says, but for once I am in COMPLETE agreement with him at least about the contents, if not about the form. Every single word he says about them, including the final privacy issue. He's 100% right.

I don't know why either. The only reason why I know who they are is because of Twitter mentions about them and because of E! publicity for their show on them. I hate the reality celebrity crap. Dealt with it and absolutely no, thanks. Most are despicable people. There are some notable exceptions, but they are very rare.

Holmes and Hunt will destroy Cr-egg's two upcoming films in 3 weeks head to head. This Girl With The Egghead Boyfriend film is being pushed on USA tv a lot now and it just does not fit into the spirit of the season in 3 weeks. How many bombs can DC survive already? He is the consummate loser at the box office and the green 'loiner' at Eon is entrenched in him.

The Holmes ad looked better than the first one. Maybe the people who make these ads should teach Bond how to make trailers, there stuff has been the same for a long time. The Holmes ad looked compelling like it has something new, the BOnd ads for the last two (three maybe?)flash images of the best stunts and with music not in the movie but with the same underscoring idea "this is serious, Bond has never face anything like this" It used to be you have never seen anything like this before. The last movie that had this feel was GE, I remember the ads for that and I had to see it and it didn't disappointing the stunts and background scenery were wonderful truly classic to go with the best of them.

CR I felt was trying the ad were too this is bond begins with Russian singers doing the vocals like the light saber fight with obi-wan and Anikin but never really deliver that feel, I know a lot seem to like CR but i was underwhelmed by it nothing really popped and it had a depressing tone. The story of "Bond beginning" never was there and the ads were more fun than the movie.

http://img.perezhilton.com/wp-content/u ... o__oPt.jpg This Ingot Of Finkilium looks bad in every poster and picture out there. I don't know what this will do outside of the USA but I can tell you it will BOMB here and finish behind Cruise and Downey Christmas weekend. It might be another Dream House nightmare for DC.

http://www.skyfall-movie.com/releasedates/ It will be released in Italy on Halloween weekend as it should be, being the fact DC is an absolute horror to watch! Ale, you had better not spend one Lira http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/e ... knotes.JPG on this film or MP and I will pick up FBF and EA and come to Italy to yell at you. Pick up a bootleg dvd and let us all know how bad it is. EA might see it before you though, so he might be the first, or the Sweeney, to inform us of the ridiculous plot.

I'am sure Sweeney and i will be first to view Skyfall, and let the rest of you know what our views are on the film................so far, there's so much secrecy on the film i dont have any initial impressions......except that i do expect it to be a very unusual Bond film, whether thats good or not remains to be seen. One strange thing is that EON are making this film in total secrecy, there doesnt even seem to be a production blog on the internet.

There is NO WAY in HELL I set foot in a theatre to watch Skyfall. Not a chance. I'll find a bootleg, that's not a problem  And if I resist past 10 minutes I will let you know about the plot  EA and Sweeney will see it first, I'm sure, so we'll have their ratings for the movie first
