The reviewer sounded skeptical that such a dark and violent film would be successful on the Christmas/New Year release schedule. Prepare for 2 more USA DC bombs on December 21st. Count on it. These films have STENCH written all over them here.

Tintin doing very well! Looks like Craig may have another successful franchise under his belt.
Män som hatar kvinnor might give Daniel a break out side of 007 he desperately needs, so far 2011 was a bad year for him.Despite its respectable start abroad, the movie still has a long way to go before it can be considered a success. The picture cost its financial backers between $150 million and $175 million after tax credits, according to people close to the production. The studios will also spend more than $100 million to market and release the movie worldwide, and about 30% of "Tintin" revenue will go directly to Spielberg and Jackson.
In our house Xmas is the bigger celebration by a smidgen. We go all out for both, as much food as we can manage with good will and good feelings.English Agent wrote:Just a quick question for our US friends...........Is thanksgiving a bigger celebration in your country than Xmas?

Last years Wii game sold about 1.4 million considering Wii is the biggest gaming system out there something like 90 million of them that kind of sucks too.
You are not Arthur Daley are you Omega!Omega wrote:Man Black Friday sucks this year. Last few years I've gamed the sales system online and was able to flip a few games and TVs to make some cash, this years it's slim pickings. Best Buy and Wal-mart had the best deals so far, nothing exciting. The only deal I feel OK about is the 24" 1080p TV I got for $40 after using a $40 gift card for trading my old games in, probably keeping this to replace my old monitor.
A few $200 to $300 40" lcd TVs out but they are the old standards and hard to flip for a little profit. A few $40 blu-ray players too but it the same thing with those. A couple of Xbox & PS3 deals but not enough to buy them and flip them. Maybe all of the sales are in clothing and appliances I'm just not seeing it.
BTW: GoldenEye Reloaded is sucking it hard, Activision has had to spent more advertising it than they will make off it, the numbers are so low people can't get a online game going.Last years Wii game sold about 1.4 million considering Wii is the biggest gaming system out there something like 90 million of them that kind of sucks too.
I have it on 2-disc DVD (sold only at Walmart), 3D blu-ray (sold only at Best Buys), and blu-ray/dvd combo with a bonus disk (sold only at Target). Still need to get a regular blu-ray/dvd format, a single disk blu-ray, and a disk single dvd. Crazy, I know. I just feel like collecting HP.bjmdds wrote:DH-2 now on DVD and being sold commercially, so the successful run for the Potter franchise at the theatres is done...........for now anyway............JK may get the itch for one follow up book so who knows if we will see HP and his buddies again in the theatres. A decade of dominance does not fade away without the publisher/movie studios yearning for more of the same. No HP will cause a void in the film industry and it will not be replaced by any imitator to the throne. FBF, buying the blu-ray?
1) has he actually been cast? and 2) ARE THEY KIDDING?!?!?!"A source told The Sun: 'Female fans will have more than Daniel to gush over now Ben's been cast as Q. He'll be a big draw." Are they kidding? Q to attract women in a Bond film? Here, Q will be better looking than Bond![]()

Not sure who this is, What I do is try to buy something cheap enough to resell it on EBAY and or trade it in to make a few bucks. Last few year's I've done well, last black firday I got the complete set Star Trek TNG dvd $80 I was able to turn around and sell for $200 + shipping and I got some games from Amazon I was able to trade back 4 months later for double what I paid. It's not a business it is a way to make a few dollars and maybe stay ahead of the game.carl stromberg wrote:You are not Arthur Daley are you Omega!Omega wrote:Man Black Friday sucks this year.
